Class started Jan 11th

Yes I signed up for both. I heard thru the grapevine that it really helps with easing the class load. Did you sign up for one or both?

I heard they interviewed 84 total. Maybe they're sending notifications in batches & couldn't get to everyone before the holiday??

I guess it's pretty safe to say all the decisions have been made, huh? I didn't hear anything either. Sad...

I had problems over the summer at the North Harris campus. At that time, I requested them to send them once grades were posted and it took them 3 weeks to process the request. I ended up have to submit a second request to send them immediately. This semester, they told my best bet is to come in first thing on Jan 3rd and pick them up in person because they were already back logged at the beginning of December with requests to be processed once grades were posted. I was hoping that all my grades would post before their offices closed, but I wasn't that lucky. So come Jan 3rd, I'm gonna pick up the transcripts myself, drive them down to UT, and have them process them right away and I'll go ahead and register at the same time if they'll allow me.

anyone have trouble getting paperwork into the school? every time i send stuff in, they never get it the first time. its taken two or three tries for each of my holds. even today, i just called this afternoon and they still haven't received my letter of intent to attend. i sent it last week. i ended up driving down there to drop off my registration deposit because i forgot to include it in with my letter of intent. should i be concerned that they haven't gotten the letter? it was due today....

we aren't able to register until all of our holds are gone and this includes the transcript hold as well. i'm in the same boat as you guys because i'm currently taking micro and stats this semester. a friend of mine who is in her 1st semester said not to worry because the classes don't get full...

how long is it before you get a response with a date and time when you submit your drug screening request?

i'm working full-time at the moment and plan to work part-time (16-24 hrs/wk) come january. if i have to reduce my hours once the semester starts then i will do so. however, my spouse might be getting laid off in the spring and we might need that part-time income. i got into utmb's BACC2, but am declining the acceptance. i originally was planning to attend, but need to stay local and have the option to work now that my financial situation has changed. as for the time of orientation, i emailed the school and am waiting to hear back.

Eyrehead & CareerChangeMom - As of now, I plan to take the park and ride from 1960 & 45. If plans changes, I'd love to carpool if you two are up for it. Just keep me posted... If there are any others willing to carpool, please let me know...

wannabeanRN - i already did my CPR but one of my classmates teaches Healthcare provider CPR out of her home for $25 (i think). if you PM me i can try to get her contact info for you. i live up on the northside in spring, so i think she lives around this area as well (spring, kingwood, etc)

anyone know what time orientation is on Dec. 10th? i didn't see a time frame noted on the email...

Me too....i have more holds as well...but still pending on my admissions status.... this sure is nerve-wracking!!! hope good news is on its way

i received my transcript eval over the summer before interviews...but that is because i requested it. i wanted to make sure i had everything squared away along the way...i wonder if they're sending things out to everyone right now??? you guys think we'll here anything this week? or will they really drag this out all the way to the 15th?

dpierson - how long do you have to give your response to HBU and TWU? i'm in the same boat as you. i received acceptance into UTMB's BACC2, but am wanting to hear from all the schools i applied to before i make my decision. i live up in spring and would like to go to school a little closer if possible....

I know that they're still planning the schedule for the upcoming BACC2 program, but do any of you know how often we'll be on campus? I know that every Tuesday is a definite because I believe that's an exam day...any of you have any additional details regarding a weekly schedule?? I'm trying to figure out whether or not commuting is feasible...

Hi all! This may be a dumb question....the letter says that we have to accept or decline by October 28. I also applied to UT-Houston and am still waiting for a response. Am I allowed to accept now, but later choose to give up my spot? How does that work?
