  1. its answered a lot of my questions and I don't even think I'd be going for nursing if it wasn't for the info. I've recieved from the people on this site.
  2. My reply probably wont be very helpful but I totally agree with the first reply, that commercial sold the site a little short. I think it should be made a little more personal somehow, and somehow convey how helpful and awesome this site is. I discovered this site just last week maybe browsing on the net for info. and I just want to say that I freakin love it!!:redbeathe
  3. Hello, I have a very important question, and I guess I will get the best advice with being blunt about my situation. I was arrested over 2 years ago for "coke" being in my car (WAS NOT MINE) but the charge was dropped almost immediatly since the state could not prove it was actually mine. So i was never convicted or plead guilty or anything, and I plan on having the arrest expunged this year. And it is also my only arrest. In Florida will this come up when I try to enter a nursing program or take any tests or get my license? I appreciate any helpful replies! :)
  4. Your reply was also helpful, much appreciated!
  5. thank you so so much, very helpful :)
  6. Hello, I reside in Tampa,FL and currently attend HCC. I've been thinking of switching to Erwin Tech and do their LPN program. I have a couple questions about working as a LPN though.. I'm a single mom so I'm wondering if LPNs only work 12 hour shifts? Where do LPNs usually work besides hospitals and retirement homes? Is it common for them to work in md offices? And also, the most common question, are LPNs being "phased out". Is it worth becoming a LPN? I will someday continue my education and become and RN though. I think replies from florida residents would be most helpful but I would really appreciate replies from anybody anywhere, it would be very helpful on me choosing this as my career. Thank you!
