The best you can do is keep taking classes to try to raise your GPA. Sounds like you're pretty close to a 3.0. Even if they are classes that won't help advance you in your Nursing goal. It will at least raise your GPA.

I am number 72 on waitlist, so the odds of me getting in are slim. This is my second time applying to Ohlone. This is the first time they are only doing the process once a year. It will be interesting to see how that affects the wait list. Congrats to all of those that made it!

I got an email tonight. I am on the waitlist. Im crossing my fingers that I get in somehow! I'm still waiting to hear from Chabot.

Even if you have a degree in English, you must still take the English placement test at Ohlone. I didn't realize this and almost missed the deadline. When I went to take the test there was about 200 people in line. I got there 3 hours early so I was able to take it with no problem, but they don't have many seats. So get there early and don't wait until the last test date. Once you pass it, you don't have to take it again. Good luck!
