  1. Hello everyone... I originally planned on taking the NCLEX on July 14th, but I rescheduled to the 29th so I could study harder. I hope everyone good luck!!!
  2. I find the qbanks very useful. I am currently doing qbank questions and reviewing them. I am currently in Classroom Anywhere, and I am also doing Saunders nclex flashcards when I get tired of reviewing Kaplan material. My classmate recommend that I do that, and it seems to be doing great for me. From what people tell me, Kaplan questions are closest to NCLEX questions.
  3. I like Kaplan a lot. I am just taking my time on it though. I plan to take the NCLEX around the time my subscription ends mid-July. I am currently doing Qbank questions and my score is gradually going up. By the time I get to the trainers, hopefully my scores will be over 65%. Thanks for telling me the amount of questions on the trainers. It will give me a better idea on how to study up until I take the NCLEX. Good luck Halee!
  4. How many questions are in each of the Question Trainer 4, 5, 6, and 7? Thanks!
  5. Thanks for this! I just got my content book yesterday, and I didn't like the fact I had to wait a total of 6 days to get it. I had signed up on Saturday and didn't receive it until Friday. I was kind of confused if I should do the content video and take notes in my book, or if I should read the book first because in the classroom version, they want you to read the book before attending class. I think I will just do what you did and watch the video and look over my book, and spend the rest of today looking over the book. I appreciate this reply. I am stating to do the Kaplan content today! Yay!
  6. I just received my course book yesterday, and I went through the orientation videos and book. I found out that there are content videos that correlates to the course book. The way I'm doing it, is that I'm just going to study the content material in the course book and videos. There is more than enough content to study from. After you take the diagnosis test, you can go over you weak points afterwards, but this is to be done in phase 2. Phase 1 is review content and orientation stuff. They recommend that you look go over the content and read the book before you go to phase 2 and 3 which is the qbanks and trainers. I was really confused with the set up also, but it all started making sense after I got the course book. Kaplan on demand has no set scheduling so you can skip around if you want. There are phases that you can go by though. If you are talking the NCLEX for the first time, there is a money back guarantee as long as your school is accredited and you are a graduate within 6 months, but you have to finish everything, checking off all the videos, book work, videos, and questions. Why are you going to pay $418 dollars if you are just going to use the trainers and qbank when they offer you content also. I would rather just concentrate on 1 reviewer instead of doing lacharity and saunders, etc., for me just the pharmacology content in the course book, is enough to make my head spin, but that is just me. I like it because they don't want you to study and memorize everything, they are more concerned about you getting concepts, because like they say, you will never get the same question again in NCLEX. I hope this helps. Good luck!
  7. Yeah it looks like I will just stick with Kaplan for content also! Yay! Thanks everyone for the feedback! I think it's better for me to concentrate on one reviewer or else I might get off track... I tend to get confused sometimes and try to do more things than necessary! Thanks!
  8. Awesome JBjints! I don't have enough posts to message anyone. Keep in touch and tell me how On Demand is going for you!!! When are you planning to take the NCLEX? I am not taking it until I feel I am truly ready.. maybe 3 months from now...
  9. I chose Kaplan for a couple of reasons. Kaplan has been around for 25 years, I heard their questions and rationales are the best, and they have a much larger bank of questions than ATI. ATI seems a little repetitive and they are a relatively newer company compared to Kaplan. I just started Kaplan On Demand, and spent a lot as well, but I'm hoping it's a worth-while investment. Tell us what you end up using. Good Luck!
  10. Hi! I heard Kaplan is mostly questions but has some content. I just joined Kaplan On Demand and I want to know if some people would recommend something more content based like Herst as a supplement to Kaplan or just concentrate on Kaplan. So, stick to just Kaplan On Demand or supplement it with something else? I just payed over $400 dollars for it and hoping it is good enough. Thanks!
  11. Hello everyone! I just received my degree conferral yesterday, and now I joined Kaplan On Demand today to review for NCLEX. I have a question about it. When should I take the diagnostic test? It does not really give a set schedule, and I am kind of anal about this stuff haha. It just gives me a list of things that are required. I just watched 2 sets of videos, and I don't know if I need to watch the orientation and decision tree video first or do the diagnostic test prior to watching those videos. It says also I should read 2 chapters also in the course book which I don't have yet. Please help! Thanks!
  12. Hi there! Is it possible I can get a copy of the probability scores you received from your instructor? I know that would help a lot of people. I would like to know I have at least a 90% chance of passing NCLEX before I take it. Thanks! I just joined On Demand today, and I am still kind of confused about some things?? When exactly should I take the diagnostic test, after I receive my book?? Help please!
