nursing programs in washington state!
hello all :) i currently live in california and will be moving to washington state next year. im currently working on my pre-requisites and am focused on becoming an RN! i am looking for entry level programs in northeast washington to apply to. mainly areas like spokane and wenatchee, anything that is east of wenatchee and north of spokane in washington is pretty much the area i am looking at. i am mainly looking for RN programs but BSN programs will work too, just no LPN programs please :) also, i am looking for entry level programs. it seems most of the ones i bump into are for LPNs or CNAs to further their schooling, but i need something entry level being that i have no certifications and such. if you know of any programs or think you can help me in any way, please reply! much appreciated :) thanks!

Looking for a nursing program in Oregon or Washington state without a wait list...
Hello and thank you for the response! So far I have only taken my English class and my Communications class, I received an A in both classes. I am going to start my biology pre-requisite classes this summer. I dont want to overload myself, so I am going to take one biology class per semester. So it should take me three semesters, including summer, to finish them. I know I can for sure get at least a 3.0 GPA, if not higher. I am smart, I just dont see myself getting a 3.8... Any other information is greatly appreciated and feel free to ask any questions! Angie.

Looking for a nursing program in Oregon or Washington state without a wait list...
Hello all! I am looking for a nursing program in Oregon or Washington state that I do not have to be put on a wait list to get in to. I know there are merit based programs, but I am specifically looking for guarenteed admission that only requires your pre-requisites and an accumulative GPA. I understand they will be more expensive so price is not really the issue, although I would like to try and stay under $32,000 a year. All information is greatly appreciated!

Need help choosing the right path for my future as a nurse!
Thanks so much for the help! Very much appreciated! I am looking into attending Pacific Union College in Northern California. It is religious and all, which I am not, but I do not think it will hinder my ability at all to get a good education and have a successful future as a nurse. The tuition is about $32,000 a year which is not too much for my budget at this point because my family will be helping me pay the tuition and the program is only two years. Have any of you guys heard anything about PUC?

Need help choosing the right path for my future as a nurse!
I am currently at Golden West Community College in Southern California. I do not like living here and I want to go away to college, but I want to make sure I make the right decision for my future. I am considering moving to Nothern California, Oregon, Idaho, or Washington. I am trying to avoid long wait lists at community colleges while also not ending up in a bottomless hole of debt. I want to start school somewhere in the fall, but most universities arent taking student for fall semester anymore, just spring. I have looked at some technical schools like Apollo College and Unitek College, but they are extremely expensive and I have no idea how credible they are! I am looking for advice on a route I should take and nursing programs that would be good for me. I am only interested in RN programs, and I want to try and start in the fall of 2010, but I am not opposed to anything starting in the spring of 2011. I am also trying to avoid anything that is going to be more than $30,000 a year but also dont want to be stuck on a wait list. Any help or information I can get would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! Angelica.
