ok so I got a job at a rehab hospital as a Rehab nursing tech(CNA) and i'll be working nights. starting pay is $12 and then there is a shift differential of 15% because of nights... so thats $13.80 and i'll be working every other weekend and the weekend differential is 30%.... so my question is... would the weekend diff be added onto my night shift diff to make it a 45% diff for working weekend nights? or would it be just the 30%? plz help, im sooo confused and i like to look ahead so im already adding up the money to see where my bills go and other things of that nature so i'd really like to be on point.. this will be my first CNA job, i just finshed the trainning and passed the test at the start of may sooo yea i have no idea about any of this and i've never gotten shift diff at any of my other jobs (book stores and none profits)

help with cna to pct question
Hi, I started HHA/CNA training at the red cross on the 12 and i should be done by the 6th.. and hopefully my state test will be a week or two after that. I want to work in a hospital and i've been hearing a lot of talk about hospitals hiring CNA's and training them to be PCT's but im not sure if Boston hospitals do this also or if it takes place outside of Mass... So are there any CNA's in the Massachusetts area who have been hired by a hospital and trained in house to be a PCT???? If so which hospital do you work at and do you like it? P.s if they do train you is there a time period you have to wait before they do or can you just apply to the job and if they decide to hire you they start training of the bat?
