Any Legal Nurse Consultants out there????? I'M SEROUSLY THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!! BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET STARTED. AND I DON'T KNOW IF THE SEMINARS I HAVE SEEN ON THE INTERNET ARE ANY GOOD. I HAVE LOOKED INTO SOME COLLEGES BUT NOT IN MY AREA. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????

I have worked in longterm care where the LPN works as a nurse, has her own team of patients and cares for them as I did my own team. Yes we all worked together and I treated them as co-workers not the typical RN-LPN roles. I found that many LPN's that worked there were nurses long before I was and could teach me. Now I work in a hospital and I find there is no team work. Everyone has to watch there own back. If The LPN and the Nurse split the team then the LPN is responsible.

Can anyone help---I used to get a newspaper from the wisconsin nurse registry. It had legal articles and listed "crimes" (for lack of a beter word) and suspensions etc. of fellow nurses. Does anyone remember what the paper is called??? Or where I can order it again? I haven't seen it for about a year and a half. thanks:o

Technically we're not supposed to have drinks at the nusring station but its not enforced. As far as it being a JACO rule--- I have no Idea.
