I was going to go to the red cross in ridgewood June 26 it's a Sunday from 9-5 $90 I just need to register for it.. I was looking for one in July but couldnt find any

I didn't know the medical forms are due the 15th... I totally forgot to bring them today but didnt think it mattered.. Guess I have to make another trip.. Ugh

Yea I know I cant imagine anybody stealing them, but thats what I hear so Im just getting it engraved to be safe. I was just going to get my initials. And since you told me medisave is free engraving i am going to order from them because allheart charges $15

They told me the uniforms would take a couple weeks... When I stopped by the school the women I spoke to didnt know about stethoscopes but I'm def getting a littmann and it engraved! I heard they disappear often lol

I just finished ordering my uniforms and I purchased all white sneakers there. I am going to order my stethoscope at allheart.com they seem to be better priced.. I was looking at both those littmanns.. Ugh so many choices. Im going today to HNH to drop off my summer tuition and im going to ask them if they have suggestions on which stethoscope.. I'll let you know.. The three of us should plan to meet and go to orientation together

Has anyone purchased a stethoscope yet? Im not sure which to go with. I was looking at the Littmann Master Classic II and the Littmann Classic II SE.. any suggestions?

I have mostly everything done. I was waitlisted last year so I knew if I didnt get in I had a spot for 2011. I have had alot of time to get things together. I live in Washington Township.

No im not getting my associates because then I'd have to take almost all the non nursing classes over and I don't want to do that. Once I graduate I'll apply to a RN to BSN program.

@peanut901 Im super excited as well! I cant wait to start. Not sure what books we'll need yet, but Iv been looking into which stethoscope and other supplies to get.

In order to receive an associates from Holy Name you would need to take more than that one class. I think you need 27? college courses taken at Holy Name.

When I went in for my financial aid meeting she went over which classes I needed to take in order to come up with my tuition.

No nothing really about scholarships just a website that you can go to that has scholarships you can apply to.. you can apply for FASFA and see if you get a grant and then I also qualified for a government loan but i still need $5600 of my own money for this year. If they havent sent you a packet yet they will and it has financial aid info and also information about uniforms and things you need to take care of before orientation... do you live far from school?

I'm glad it went well.. Wow another month.. Ughh the waiting process begins.. Since I was waitlisted for a year I got alot of my cooled courses finished.. I will be taking micro in July at holy name though.. Wish you the best of luck can't wait til you find out!

Honestly don't be scared all they talked about with me at my interview was which classes I'd be taking. I had a financial aid meeting earlier this month. Once you are accepted they send you all the financial aid info. Are you taking all the college courses too?

They shouldn't take too long to notify you. Last year I had my interview on April 20th and then sent me a letter the following week.
