Is anybody a current HNH nursing student? I received my packet of information the other day because I will be starting in August 2011. I just wanted to know what the schedule of classes are like the first semester. Also, how do you like it so far?

Has anyone applied to Holy Name Hospital RN program for 2010? I took the teas March 27th and am still waiting for my results.

I was going to go to the red cross in ridgewood June 26 it's a Sunday from 9-5 $90 I just need to register for it.. I was looking for one in July but couldnt find any

They told me the uniforms would take a couple weeks... When I stopped by the school the women I spoke to didnt know about stethoscopes but I'm def getting a littmann and it engraved! I heard they disappear often lol

Has anyone purchased a stethoscope yet? Im not sure which to go with. I was looking at the Littmann Master Classic II and the Littmann Classic II SE.. any suggestions?

I have mostly everything done. I was waitlisted last year so I knew if I didnt get in I had a spot for 2011. I have had alot of time to get things together. I live in Washington Township.

No im not getting my associates because then I'd have to take almost all the non nursing classes over and I don't want to do that. Once I graduate I'll apply to a RN to BSN program.

In order to receive an associates from Holy Name you would need to take more than that one class. I think you need 27? college courses taken at Holy Name.

When I went in for my financial aid meeting she went over which classes I needed to take in order to come up with my tuition.

No nothing really about scholarships just a website that you can go to that has scholarships you can apply to.. you can apply for FASFA and see if you get a grant and then I also qualified for a government loan but i still need $5600 of my own money ...

They shouldn't take too long to notify you. Last year I had my interview on April 20th and then sent me a letter the following week.
