  3. thank you Skylark for your message. government targets..thanks for mentioning this i would have never of thought to research this!! Im pretty sure they have trained peds nurses in the A+E but im guessing would need some peds training! No time to work shift beforehand im afraid will be going in blind! do you think it would be okay to write some bits down and take in with me in interview as i go completly blank when im interviewed and just mumble a load of nonsense!!!! xxxx
  4. hi everyone I have an interview in A&E department next week for Band 5 Reg nurse job... to make things worse il be coming straight off a night shift and going to the interview, and i cant get out of the shift or change it im just wondering if any A&E nurses out there can give me some advice or tips on what they might ask in interview and what to prepare beforehand?? thanks in advance!!! RNpinky xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  5. i also am unhappy in my job. I have been qualified as a RN for 6 months and work on CCU. i disliked/hated near enough all my training and wanted to quit so many times but i kept going with the support of my family as it can lead me elsewhere...which is has!! i have been accepted to study biomedical science this september (another 3 years of studying ) and i cannot wait. the thought of learning about the biomedicine of the body without the patient care and contact is what excites me..i know i must sound awful but i really am not the 'hands on nurse' that patients need. I will still have to work part time as RN whilst studying but hey least i know i am heading for a happier career!!!
  6.
