  1. how come a lot nurses and nursing student keep saying that the work is stressful?
  2. how do some of our hardworking nurses and nursing students handle their stress on a regular basis? any nursing activities that will help cope with stress at work or (nursing students)schooling? any nursing group / activities available? what do regular nurses do on there day off? what do nurses do for fun? you guys bring your stress at home? i've noticed that a small percentage of nurses aren't happy at the things they do and that is why it shows in the workplace. i know it's stressfull and it takes a lot of testicular fortitude to be a nurse. it has ups and down. i think most nurses need to have a nice long vacation and outside hospital activities.
  3. how can you tell if the nurse your dealing with is bad nurse or good nurse?
  4. if some nurses are working part time should they be concern about retirement after they're done working? do hospitals and other medical facilities offer some kind of retirement plan for part time (nurse) employee? how about matching your 401k and roll over of previous 401k or other retirement plans? which hospitals offer the most when it comes to retirement (ie, state hospitals, va, private/public, etc)? can somebody let me know before i go to nursing school? :uhoh21:
  5. got email?
  6. i'm still working fulltime till aug. doing some reading, and going to this website a lot to learn what to expect in the field. spending time with family as much as possible and trying to enjoy whatever days i have left till school.
