Foley catheter balloon size difference
well, actually my question is the difference between baloon sizes, is it that significant. Lets say, I have an order to change suprapubic catheter but Pt has Fr 18/10 cc. Is that ok to put Fr 18/30 ???

Hi all cali RN's
Hi, dont be scared! I took my results in 11 days via mail for the second time and for the first time I got them in 3 weeks. It just depends on how much BRN is busy with papers...:)

How to get RN license?
If you are in CA - you dont need CGFNS to get license. Neither you dont need to take TOEFL. All you need is to pass NCLEX. Thats it. :)

I really need advice....
It seems to me like no one was in situation like mine before. Yet, no one seems interested in discussion either. Too bad.....

to "almost an RN", actually I have a friend here (she is russian too) and we were preparing for this test together, so basicly we knew each other options in passing NCLEX and they were the same. I mean when we had Kaplan tests we scored about 75-80%. And it seemed enough to us to pass exam. And she passed with the same quantity of questions :75. And I did not. You may believe or not, but I'm sure that I became a victim of this terrible mistake. And I know that its impossible to prove it.:stone However I'm not going to give up.....:rotfl:

I really need advice....
English is not a problem for me. As I wrote earlier, I quietly sure that it was mistake. Sometimes mistakes do have place in real life. And I and only I know for sure was I ready for exam or not.I know that I answered correctly. By the way, do you know that in 2002 8,000 of students received "did not pass" because of some mistake in program and testing center had paid for them a lot of money, but they needed to retake this test again.:stone

Need Advice
I got 2 exams and I failed them both. And results of my last exam seem very suspicious to me. They are lower then results of my first test. And I used Kaplan online course between this tests, although it did not help. I sent an application for rescoring my results but I think its poinless - I cant just prove that I pass NCLEX because of some mistake. And I saw stats for 2003 year and I saw that number of passing people who repeat this test is significally low...So maybe passing this test for foreign graduates (as I am) is like a winning a lottery? Huh?:angryfire

I really need advice....
Hello! I have a difficult situation right now. I had 2 NCLEX exams and i did not pass any of them. For the first time i had 247 question and i ran out of time. Second time I got 75 questions and i did not pass again. Before my first exam I have been studying by Lippincot and before my second exam I used Kaplan online course. So my concern is : when I received the letter fron the second test I saw that my results were worse than it was when I had my first exam. And I cant believe that I did so bad. Its just impossible. By now I sent an application for rescoring my results of the second exam, but I still think that it is pointless : if there were some problem with machine, no one cant fix it and accept their fault. Actually I could believe that I did not pass if they said to me that my results were all near the passing standart or some of them above. I cant believe that I "forgot" my knowledge for this second exam. It cant be this way... PS I'n a RN from Ukraine. Do you know what to do in this case?
