Orna, I am going to register for the phed 2010 online. I have to wait until 10 pm tonight to register though. Hopefully there will still be an opening. I think there will be. I'll bet you're even more excited now that you are officially registered. 5 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!

Orna, I am considering taking the PHED 2010 the 1st 8wks. I went on ratemyprofessors.com and typed in the instructor's names. One sounded like the best teacher option. The one that teaches the 2020 class didn't rate very well. Let me know what u choose. Maybe we will take the same class.

A4L4S or Coranzo - I am starting this August. I am thinking of adding an 8 week PHED class on. Do you think I can handle the 1st semester of nursing school and PHED at the same time or should I wait and take it in the summer? Thanks!

O.K. don't laugh, but I bought a fake white leather minnie mouse nurse watch. Minnie is wearing a white nursing outfit and the second hand has a heart on the tip. I paid about $14.00 at kohls. I figure that we will probably go thru a lot of them so I went cheap. I bought the littmann cardiology III from allheart. My brother gave me his old iphone 3g. I am going to use that for the software that we need. Is anyone else going to use an iphone. I am just going to take the SIM card out. My brother told me that I should still be able to make free calls on it using skype? As you can tell, i'm not up on all the latest technology!

The ace has a section where you have to put in your name, address, email, etc. After that I paid with credit card. I don't remember their being any other option. I hope that my packet comes today:rolleyes:

Really! I never got the paperwork with the medical forms yet. I didn't have any problems filling out the ace. Be prepared to spend approx. 3 hrs on it though. I just took notes and it helped. BTW when did you get your medical forms?

Yes! I just completed the ACE. It was very time consuming, but I am happy it is done! Tipi did u do yours yet?

I just spoke to Teri (the secretary for the nursing dept.) and she said that she would be willing to switch anyone who would agree to it. I need a clinical that isn't on Friday, if possible.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to switch clinicals with me. My clinical is at Mt. Clemens. I heard that students are allowed to switch with each other. Does anyone know how the process works? Thanks!!

Hi Orna. I still need to get my titers and physical and drug test. I see a lot of info on these threads to help with that. I hope my insurance will pick up some of the cost. Did you order scrubs yet? I see that we have reading and homework assignments to get ready for the seminar. I am planning on going to the bookstore in about a week and buy the books. Have you ordered any books online? I'm thinking that I should price around. Do you know what size scissors that we are going to need to buy? I heard that PHED -2010 is the easiest class to take. Has anyone here taken it or do you reccommend a different one? Thanks!!

Hello everyone. That was really intense yesterday. I thought the main speaker was very blunt to the point of being rude. She made me feel like anyone that asked a question was ignorant! I also got the impression that they were trying to scare people into quitting. Oh well, better days are coming. We can do nursing school, we made it this far. I am planning on an August start and I look forward to getting a good study group together. I also bought the NCLEX from Walmart.
