Does anyone know what all is included in the nursing pak (Lab Kit)? It costs $183 but I can't find where it says what is all included in the kit. For $183 I would like a little more information.

No, that is just a quote on how much it may cost for you to get your own computer. It is my understanding that we will be writing a lot of papers for these courses, and they recommend that you have access to your own personal computer rather than relying on utilizing the universities computer lab. So if you have your own personal computer that will work fine and you don't have to worry about that cost.

I was able to sign up for my knightsmail account right after getting accepted to the undergraduate university. Although I did not actually do it until I was accepted to the ABSN program. Looks like we are all having our problems getting ready for this program. My background check is still pending (day 8 now), I called but was given the run around. Not sure what is going on there. Also, like everyone else I am having issues with financial aid. What a headache.... Don't worry though we will all be a lot less stressed out starting May 17th. :)

Well just signed up for my insurance through blue cross blue shield. I went with the GoBlue plan, I know its cheap and doesn't offer a whole lot of coverage, but for $27/month I can't complain. Only thing left to do know is my CPR class on the 13th of this month and I will be done with all these requirements. Whew, I feel like that was a big hoop to jump through. Now I have to move on to looking for student loans to fund this program now. Hope everyone else is doing well with getting all their stuff in order.

Cool, thanks for your reply Jazzo. Would anyone else like to comment on their status? Also, for those who did the orientation. Did you also signup for your health insurance through UCF? I'm curious because I haven't decided where I'm getting mine from yet, and was curious on the cost through the school. I found Blue Cross Blue Shield GoBlue program for $27/month, they also have a pretty good looking HSA style Insurance for $97/month and that one seems to offer a lot of coverage. I may just get the GoBlue plan due to the price though.

I know I've already asked this but I really didn't get an answer. Has anyone received a confirmation for the items they've uploaded to Magnus? All my requirements still display the "pending approval" label. Also my background check is still pending, and it's been 6 business days so far (they said it would only be 3-5). Has anyone received their completed background check yet? I know I'm probably being a little neurotic but I did everything early so I would not have to be stressed out when April 9th rolled around. Thanks for your input.

Hope everyone had fun at orientation yesterday. Just curious if there will be anybody joining me at the may 14th transfer orientation? Also for those who did orientation yesterday did you register for your classes also? If so what did the grand total for tuition come out to be for the first semester?

Just a quick question for everyone. Has anybody come across any nursing scholarships that are currently available? All the ones listed on the UCF Nursing Scholarship page are listed as not available at this time. If anybody has come across a scholarship that is currently accepting applications please let me, and the rest of us know.

The CPR and Health Insurance are not due until the 1st day of the nursing orientation. I believe that is May12th.

I've uploaded all my requirements except for the health insurance (not sure where I'm getting it from) and CPR certification. But, everything is still "pending approval". Has anyone who has submitted their stuff received a positive confirmation from the school? Or is everyone still pending approval?

Just curious, for those of you who have already uploaded their health form to Magnus. Did you just upload the health form (including immunization page, physical exam page, and TB questionnaire page) or did you also include a copy of your shot records, and any other forms given to you from the hospital when you got your physical exam, and PPD test complete? Thanks for your help, I guess if I don't get a response I will wait till Monday to call the school and upload the information.
