Got in as well, waiting from Nassau Community College now

This is a nice upgrade with email notification! Did nursing admission gave you this info? The second time i applied i did not receive no mail at all, and my torture was longer then it suppose to be, and at the end it was a denial. Well, this is a third one. We shall see...

Same here, done with all pre-req and co-req, only micro left which i am taking now. GPA 3.84. Are you taking Micro now? I was applying for Fall 2011 with 3.93 and i had only Micro and one Elective left and i didn't get in. It seems that it is merely impossible to get into program if you have no Micro or not taking it at the moment. But best of luck to you!

Sure, will do, but i think we have to wait for at least another month. I believe last year students got results in the end of November, beginning of December. It is a long wait....!

hi virgomoon , they have a lot of applicants with all their pre-reqs and co-reqs done with great gpas. so if you still have classes to take, just take them and next semester you will be fine. of cause gpa should be high as well.

I am still waiting on letter, so very enxious, was you done with all you prereq and coreq?

thx evap2010 to all, does anyone know if it is a big deal to have a "w" in a&pii? i am repeating a&pii and have micro left. i hated having different professors for lection and labs and lab professor was horrible, as least for me. all other classes are done with a's. any info on that? thx

I just looked at the Spring 2011 class schedule for Nursing 101 and saw that not all classes are full. It really upsets me because i didn't get into the programm (having 4.0 with 21 credits) and they just left these seats open!? i am almost ready to go ask Nursing Department why they are doing it? @ evap2010: What math test are you talking about? thx

What Professor did you have for A&P 2? It is really hard in Nassau to get porfessor that you want because they all TBA when you register.

Thanks for support. We will keep trying, and if it will not be Nassau, it will be some other school. I just was ready for a change and it didn't happen, it just will take longer....

He applied for day, cause he works at night. It was a shocker, i was sure he will get in. But, i guess he will just continue taking classes and applying everywhere we can.

HI, just want to share - my boyfriend didn't get in:(. He has 4.0 with 19 credits (incl. all pre-req, A&P1 and couple other classes) from Nassau and lives in Nassau county. So, i am not sure why. Maybe cause he doesn't have that many credits.

Congrats! How many pre-req credits did you have? My bf and me live in Hicksville, so we are pretty close too. Maybe tomorrow.

to kuklara511 how do you find nursing classes? do you find it harder then a&p2 and micro or on the same level?

I called the Nursing Department today and they said that results will come out next week. So, have a nice Thanksgiving and do not bother mailperson:). One more week it is!

My Boyfriend is applying and we are both nurvous. He is taking A&PII right now. And he has Microbiology, Sociology and one elective left. I saw they opened more seats for the Spring semester. But, i guess, it will take couple more weeks for us to find out! Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone here finished their AS in NCC and then went to Farmingdale for BS? Just curious how many nursing credits did Farmingdale accepted from NCC? Thanks!
