Ivy Tech Fall 2011 Waiting on THE letter
I applied at Fort Wayne for ASN and LPN, leaning more towards ASN of course I have all A's, am taking Math 131 this summer, and got a 90.0% on the TEAS. I am almost positive I will get in, but you never know what could happen! I even checked my folder 3 times and stapled it closed all the way around, just so I wouldn't lose any papers! Does anybody know what day letters are supposed to be sent out?

Who's taken the teas v?
Yes, I had the tennis ball question The math is cake, they give you all of the conversions. Waste to memorize them. If anything, memorize the rules in the English section. They seem simple but I had forgotten a lot of them.

Who's taken the teas v?
I did not have food webs on mine. I had naming carbons, cellular respiration, TONSSSS of chemistry, logic (if a scale is broken, how can you determine the weight of objects)....etc.

Took the TEAS V this morning, first time, got a 90. It was not that bad.

Why Are So Many Students Worried About Expensive Tuition
Nowadays, with so many people out of work or on unemployment, financial aid is available to ALOT of people. I am one of them. I am going to University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne and I get complete financial aid. Aside from being basically broke, I have a 4.0 and an exceptional SAT score so I also get scholarships. If it wasn't for FAFSA and my good grades, I wouldn't be able to afford the 23,000 a year plus book tuition of USF. So cost really does matter. My mom works in a hospital, went to Ivy Tech for her degree, and it took her 10 years to pay off her loans. The way you calculated that, it seems like you took the salary and applied it only to student loans. What about house payment, utilites, insurance, food, etc..? So yes, nurses make good money, but the student loans they incur (if they use them) could be pushing 100,000 dollars if they attend anything other than a community college. AND that is only IF they have good enough credit to take out 30,000 a year. Virtually unheard of nowadays.

Prosecution Deferment?
I am in pre-nursing classes and have not applied for the nursing program or clinicals yet. I want to know if my background will affect my chances of getting in, or worse, getting in but not being able to obtain my license. I had a misdemeanor conversion charge deferred and the deferment period was up earlier this year. Will the arrest show up on record? Do prosecution deferments show up and affect acceptance and licensure? No forwarded comments. I am not looking for legal advice, just similar stories.
