NICU PBDS Test
Jinggles, Yes, I start at Pitt on the 13th in the NICU. I'm doing a LOT of studying this weekend, so hopefully I'll be prepared. I'll let you know how it goes; also- I'm going to make up a study guide this weekend, I'll e-mail it to you when I'm finished; that is if you're going to the NICU.

Something good to say
Is there any way I could get in on this test prep conference call?

Something good to say
I'm taking a travel position at Pitt next week, providing I pass the PBDS; any suggestions on that God-Aweful thing? How was the staff as far as administering, grading it?

NICU PBDS Test
I'm also taking this test for a travel position next Monday, the 13th (Thank God it's not Friday the 13th, huh?) and I'm terrified! Where are you traveling to? Have you taken it yet? Maybe between the two of us we can figure this out, huh? Any info you get, please pass along to me and I'll do the same. Good Luck!

NICU PBDS Test
I take the NICU version of the PBDS next Monday and I'm not sure what scenarios I may encounter. The hospital I'm going to work at sent me a list of diagnosises (I know I spelled that wrong ) for Med/Surg, OB, and ICU but not for NICU. I'm taking a travel position and my contract depends on me passing this God-Aweful thing. The whole thing seems unfair, but to not even have any idea what dx's to study for seems even more disheartening. If anyone's taken this, please let me know what was on your test; any help will be GREATLY appreciated! THANK YOU!

Rn coming 2 NC
Jacksonville (45 minutes north of Wilmington) is much less expensive to live and my nine-year-old son goes to private school at Living Water Christian School for about $200.00 a month. The pay's not as good as Wilmington but I know of several travel companies that contract in this area. Please contact me if you'd like the info on travel companies; as I don't think I'm allowed to post it on the forums. Good Luck!

Help me choose a city by the water?
Anywhere in Eastern NC is Beautiful! Check out Morehead City, Carteret General Hospital, awesome little town but close to everything. Also, Jacksonville is right here on the water; military town (ie: lots of dates for young nurse) but Onslow Memorial Hospital's Administration leaves MUCH to be desired. Wilmington is very nice, but traffic is horrible. Hope that helps! Let me know if you need any more specific info.
