oh good deal! that's convenient. i got into the san bernardino campus. either way, i'd be moving from the bay area to southern california. so no matter which campus i got into, it would be a big move for me! i put SD as my first choice, but i think SB will be good too :)

awesome! congrats on graduating first of all. i did have questions about the SB location, but no worries that you can't answer those. i also have questions regarding the actual program, classes, faculty, job outlook after graduating, etc. do you want to answer them here in the forum or in private message? feel free to email me. congrats!!! i originally applied to the SD campus, but then said I was open to either SD or SB. I got into SB which is fine now because I just found out they're starting the masters portion at that location too! So I won't have to move after I finish the BSN :) that's what I was concerned about. Anywayyy, congraaats again! Will you be moving from somewhere far to SD? Or are you from SD already?

I just found out I got into APU's ELM program for next summer! Which campus did you graduate from? I'll be going to the SB campus and I was wondering if I could ask you questions about the program!! :)

Mine still says "completed" too, however I received my letter and call already so I'm not sure if it just takes them a while to change that status on the website. I applied to SD also, but told them I'd be open to going to either SD or SB to increase my chances. I got into SB, which is fine. I'm down for any location, but what concerns me is that to complete the masters classes, I'll have to move to either the azusa campus or SD campus since the SB one doesn't offer the masters courses (I think! I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere. I should email them to ask). But anyway, exciting stuff! Do you live in SD already?

When did you apply? Perhaps you're IN but they haven't sent you the letter or called you yet? I know I'm in for Summer 2012 and I also got that email telling me to activate my account. Congrats in advance if you are in!!! Let me know which campus you've been accepted to and for what term! :)

I was told we'd be informed in August, and that was about right since I heard back at the beginning of August. I had all my prereqs complete, yes. Low undergrad gpa (around 2.9) but mostly A's in prereqs. Good luck!! Let me know if you get in!!

Hi Kalami08, I think I read in a previous thread that you went to APU. Is that true? I just got into the San Bernardino campus for next summer and I'm excited! I was just searching the allnurses forums for people who can give me more info on the school, program, SB location, housing in the area, etc etc. And congrats on landing a good job too!!! Ohh okay. Yeah I think summer starts in May then, so I still have a good amount of time to save money and figure out finances. Are you going to submit the fafsa and look for financial aid/scholarships/loans? Let me know if you find any good info on other good areas to live in, finances, the campus, etc! feel free to email me [email protected]. I'd love to keep in touch at least with you so that I can get some information on the program once you start :) Yay!
