  1. Here is a breakdown of the first 2 semesters for classes/clinicals: First semester: Monday: Health assessment 8-10:50, Essentials 1-3:50 Tuesday: Community Health Nursing 7:30-10:20, 2 labs - they go from 12-5:20 (this was a long day..) *community health nursing is only for the first 6 weeks, then you don't have class anymore Wednesday - Roles of the Pro Nurse 8-10:20 (done for the day until you have the long term care clinical, then you have to go pick up a patient assignment at some point during the day) Thursday & Fridays for the first 6 weeks - Community clinicals range from 8-4pm The second half is Long Term Care Clinical (my hrs for that were 6am-3pm) *I think this by far was the toughest semester, there are tons of assignments and papers, you will be busy all of the time Second semester Monday: Adult 1 7:30-10:20, Pathophysiology 1:00-4:20 Tuesday: Off Wednesday: Families 7:30-10:20, Pharmacology 1:00-4:20 Rotations are Peds/OB for 6 weeks and Adult 1 for 6 weeks Hours vary, my schedule was Peds/OB Thurdays and Fridays from 6:30-1:30 Adult 1 was 7am-7pm on Thurdays, again, schedules vary but it's the same amount of hours *This was a difficult semester as well because you take 16 tests plus one paper Hope this helps!
  2. Hi everyone, I am in the UCF accelerated program right now in the third semester and wouldn't mind answering any questions any of you have about the program. I know you all are really excited at this point as I was at this time last year. I received my acceptance letter by March 15. I had a 3.8 but no TEAS score because the TEAS was not required then. For those of you wondering about working it would be impossible the 1st and 2nd semester. It is possible 3rd semester but only if you do not have to take the elective. Let me know if I can answer any questions!
