  1. Hey everyone, I just created a facebook group for our program! Search "Rush GEM Summer 2010" and it should come up! So far I am the only member , so please join !
  2. I graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2008. My GPA was 3.22, though my upper-level coursework and pre-reqs GPA was significantly higher. I was involved with volunteering and extra-curriculars, but I didn't really hold leadership positions in them. I think one thing that stood out on my app was that I had a lot of research experience (I was asked about it in the interview). I didn't do CNA, though I'm sure that would only help your application! Hope this helps!
  3. Stepherbug-- I am from IL, north suburbs in Gurnee. I'm only slightly familiar with the city, but I'm really looking forward to living there! You?
  4. Same! Now the apartment search begins...!
  5. The interview went well, thanks for asking! I interviewed with Dr. Lisa Rosenberg and the meeting was very casual. She asked me questions like why nursing, what I think a nurse does, some stuff about my background. I'm so anxious to hear back (this week!). I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but I can't help but looking up apartments! The campus housing at Rush sounds very nice too...
  6. I have my interview tomorrow at 1pm. I was told that from 1-2pm there would be a presentation session and at 2pm would be the interview. Anyone know what the presentation is all about? I'm trying not to psych myself out for this! From what everyone is saying, it doesn't sound so bad...
