  1. Hi everybody has anyone here attended maryville university for their nursing program. If so how was it and how long did it take to learn you were accepted. I recently applied to the weekend/evening program to obtain my BSN. any input is greatly appreciated:)

I too,understand what u r going thru.I just began my career as a nurse a week ago n was scared out of my mind.luckily the ltc facility that I'm at has me in a two week orientation because I am a new nurse and I couldn't be more grateful.We will eventually overcome our fears and go on to be great nurses.So keep smiling nad giving it your all and I think we both will be ok

I'm a bit confused right now so help would be appreciated.I just received my official nursing license in MO(of course) and was reading that as of June 1st they will become a compact status state. What does that mean for me because I am a resident of Illinois. If someone could explain this to me it will really help. Thanks ahead for any help

  5. ok everybody,I'm baack and I can say that the PVT works 100%. I am IL and whn i checked the quick results line it said i had passed.I found myself crying tears of joy because i have wanted this for so long there was a time when i thought it would never but the good LORD above would not let me give up.I am a true believer that if u want it go hard for n never ever stop trying.I'm happy I found ths website because i thought I was alone in my quest to conquer the nclex. GOOD LUCK TO ALL FUTURE TEST TAKERS!!!!! to the nclex taker from Missouri how long did it take to recieve your actual license and how soon where u able to work-Thanks for ur response:nurse:
  6. :crying2:Hey everybody i took the nclex-pn on tuesday and have been going crazy ever since.Well because I'm in IL I can do the quick results hotline tomorrow but i wanted to try the trick anyway well i got the pop-up that said contact the member board for further assistance.For a brief moment i smiled because literally I have spent the past few hours reading all the posts.So PRAY for me that the pvt is true.Will post my answer as soon as I know something tomorrow.
  7. Im just waiting for my att to schedule the exam. Which Kaplan book did you use?I have used been using the saunder's comprehensive exam and the cd-rom that came along with it.This is a dream of mine that I can't let go of
  8. Hi I"m new to this site.I was just deemed eligoble to take my nclex exam.I'm nervous but I know i have to stop procrastinating.Has anyone recently taken this exam and if so how did you prepare? how did you calm your nerves thanks for taking the time to respond if anyone responds.
