  1. I just called Makati Med and they do MRSA screening. Try calling tertiary hospitals within your area. :)
  2. Where can I have MRSA taken??? VCHN requires that MRSA screening be done before I commence the BP but I can't seem to find a provider that does it.
  3. New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2 - Nursing for Nurses Check this thread. It has lots of info for Filipino nurses! :)
  4. I didn't ask. She just said finding a job right now is really tough. Oh well, let's just hope for the best.
  5. OMG! Chatted with an old friend of mine who finished her BP last July. She still can't land on a job until now. Now I am getting scared!
  6. Question for those who were granted a 456 Visa: Can I buy a one-way ticket or is it necessary that I purchase a roundtrip??
  7. Received my 456 Visa in 5 working days. :) Goodluck to everyone. Merry Christmas! :)
  8. Question for those who applied for a 456 Visa: On the DIAC Website, it somewhere states that you might need to show documentation that the company you work for is an actively operating business. Example: Business Registration Certificate. Is this really necessary??
  9. I am also looking for a flat near heidelberg. It's really hard to find one.
  10. Hi. I am a little bit confused with the 456 Visa. It says the "NO FURTHER STAY" condition may be applied to that. Does it mean that I cannot get a working visa even if I already found an employer to sponsor me??
  11. Thank you so much Haoyin. It sure does help! :)
  12. Hi. I kust have a quick question. I am planning to schedule my medicals next week. How do I start? Will I just go directly to the clinic and bring the necessary requirements? How will they know what exams are necessary for my situation?? Confused much!!!
  13. Help!! Who has undergone the Medical Exam at Nationwide Health Systems? Can I ask how much is the total amount that you paid? I am thinking about having my medicals next week. :)
  14. I think so! Haha. :) Yes, you're right, nice blessings for me. And they're overwhelming!! :)
  15. Thanks javRN. You may not know it, but most of your posts helped me a lot! :))
  16. Wow, its nice to know that AHPRA acknowledges our nursing education here in the Philippines. :) And its confirmed! I called VCHN a while ago, I got in for the February 14, 2011 intake. Yipee! I'm just waiting for the COE so I can start me medicals and lodge my visa. Thanks to everyone here who assisted me in one way or another! I am hoping for the best for all of us! :)
  17. I have an eligibility from NMBWA. I don't think AHPRA has issued eligibility letters just yet.
  18. Thank you sandy05! :) I am not sure until when its going to be valid, the offer letter I received from them doesn't state that info. Anyway, I received my offer letter on September 24, 2010. I sent my application last August 5, 2010 and they called me for the interview on September 17, 2010. :)
  19. Thanks unadunad. :) Good luck with your application!
  20. Hi. Got an email from VCHN, they offered me an extra slot for the February 2011 intake. (I was originally on the June 2011 intake) Anyone taking the same intake?? :)
