Travel Nursing Answers!! PLEASE HELP!!
hi! I'm a LPN in a bridge program to obtain my RN. This is my last semester and I'm required to write an ENG paper. I selected travel nursing b/c I have an interest in traveling. I Have a few questions that I need answered for my research paper. PLEASE HELP!! 1. will agencies accept my prior LPN experience or must I gain some experience as a RN before I accept a travel RN position? 2. What happens if I dont complete my contract? 3. When I apply for a license in another state, does it make my current license invalid? will i have to reapply for a license when i come back home?

nursing school and a job
it depends what you like to do but anything is possible. i'm a lpn and work full time at a busy hospital. i'm also in an accelerated bridge program and have 20 credit hrs this semester. thank god the semester is half over now and it's my last one. my point is that you can do anything you put your mind to but if you have any medical background it's best to work there while in nursing school. alot of employers will work with your schedule at healthcare jobs(hospitals, nursing homes). good luck

LPN course that bridges over to RN...more overwhelming?
both programs are a challenge. I'm a LPN in a bridge program for my RN . i work and school both full time but I think that the experience that I got as a LPN helped in the RN program. You already have the general concepts of nursing and jut build on that. I chose this avenue b/c all of the RN programs here in OH have a waiting list and I figured I could get some experience and make more money.
