Yeah, me too. It seems like tough competition in this Legacy Residency program... And I agree, from what I could find on allnurses, it seems like people started getting callbacks about a week after they had their pre-screening interviews.

I know it is probably a little soon to ask but has anyone heard anything yet?

Sheesh, only 40??? That's crazy. Yeah, and I am little unsure of what they mean by "directly" but since interviews start on July 1st, I would think that would be very soon!

No, I meant to ask that! I am also curious about how many applicants they are hiring (and in each specific department)... I'm sure everyone did great! They interviewers knew that we were nervous, I'm sure! :-)

Yeah, I'm curious about this as well. I am in Washington and will have to go to Idaho or California for practicum. I won't be applying for a little while but I am curious to know what they told you about how to go about getting an out of state practicum assignment. I also heard it was hard to find a preceptor. I am wondering if this program is going to be more hassle than it's worth. How hard was it to apply? Was there a lot of requirements to fulfill?

Hey everybody! There is a Facebook group now dedicated to our class of Seattle Central Nursing Students (look up-SCCC Nursing Students Class of 2013) and you should all join! This might be a good way to discuss classes, tests, study groups and this might be a good way to keep in touch with each other during our journey through nursing school together! Otherwise, looking forward to meeting everyone this fall! :-)

Hey everybody, I just called the office and they said the letters will probably be going out the week after Memorial Day weekend (first week of June). They were going to start sending them out this week and next week but the program assistant is now on vacation and so they'll wait to send out letters until she gets back. The lady that I just talked to said we could call next week when the program assistant (Nancy) gets back for more in-depth information but that it will probably be just a little bit longer before we get our acceptance letters in mail. Just letting everybody know!

Any word yet? I haven't heard a peep, but I'm thinking they'll send something out this next week or the following week... (since they sent out stuff last year around this time-Memorial Day weekend) Any thoughts or updates?

wazeout- when did you apply this year?

wazeout- Yeah, it's weird, I guess it's not officially called a "waitlist" but it's pretty much the same thing- if you don't get accepted immediately then you get put on a list to fill any spots that open up. I would call it a waitlist but I guess they just don't want to get people's hopes up or something, so they keep it under the radar... I applied on February 15th last year so the class filled up pretty quickly back then. I applied on the 1st this year, just in case they were swarmed with applications again. I think they accepted something like 60 students last year and from what other people have told me, they'll probably accept between 40-60 students this year depending on the budget they have and how many students they can handle.
