  1. You're only 17 and you already have career goals and are making them happen!! That is awesome!! Its great to see someone young be so mature and be excited about nursing. Most young people fit the description of "immature teenagers" but you are "breaking the mold". Being successful and young is a great thing. I mean, I'm 20 years old and the youngest of my friends but I've got RN behind my name already and they're all still in school. You sound like you've got a lot going for you and have some great goals. Keep pushing on and your clinical skills will improve with experience. Always remember: Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something...you can always do it if you put your mind to it. Good Luck to you in your future and I hope all your plans work out for you.
  2. Congratulations!!!!!!!! It's so awesome you hung in there and didn't give up!!! :ancong!:
  3. Hang in there. Is it the NCLEX style questions you have trouble with? That's what got me all through school. I started using NCLEX study books such as Saunders and did questions related to the content we were studying...I think it helped. Keep you head up and keep going. Good Luck to you!!!!!
  4. I recently passed the NCLEX-RN. I used the learningext.com review. I think it helped so much. It covers all the content and the review questions are also really helpful. Plus a 3-week subscription is only $50 and the review is by the group that actually makes the test so that helps. I know of at least 4 of my classmates that have used this review and taken their boards so far and we've all passed!! Hope this helps you out! GOOD LUCK to everyone!!! :anpom:
  5. Slow down and BREATHE when you're studying and when you're taking the test. If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed taking the test take a little time out and take a few deep breaths and tell yourself "I can do this!!" Good Luck to you!!!!!!
