does anyone know the locations of the drug screening and background check places? im trying to figure out where they are before i order them because if i cant go on a certain day because of where it's at i don't want to have to resign up. im trying to get them done in one day because im not in houston right now and i want to know if they're close together or whatnot..im planning in on coming in next friday so i want to do it then.

i use opera as well! that's what ive been using ever since i could access utlink....and it works just fine! :)

so macbooks are ok then? because everything on the computer requirements say that macs aren't supported....and thats what i have.

yeah that is a really good idea. im trying to figure out all of my options because im still clueless about parking and everything! haha i rarely go downtown and when i do its not to the medical district..

I GOT IN TOO!!! haha i finally got up enough courage to look this morning and i got in!!! :) thanks to everyone for all of the encouragement..i cant wait to meet all of you! but let me just say prayer and faith is definitley what got me through :) i had finally accepted the fact that God wanted me to go to TWU, but then i looked. and my stats arent even the highest but i think its because of where i took them. This is just such a blessing...for everyone!

nope! no changes yesterday...i stopped checking around 3 because i was just getting too anxious haha. it's soo good to hear everyone's changing today though. i was slowly giving up hope!

oh my gosh ausashd1 thats so great! i bet you got accepted! ive decided not to look at all today haha not even this morning! and im gonna try to wait til tomorrow to relieve anxiety haha if not ill just look tonight. but it's good to hear your holds have changed because that gives me hope bc mine hadnt changed when i looked yesterday around 230 :) haha so hopefully ill be seeing some good news when i finally do decide to look...whenever that may be! haha maybe ill just wait for the letter :) but its so great to constantly hear all of these acceptances! im just so so happy for everyone because we all deserve it :) ill let everyone know as soon as i get up enough courage to look! haha but keep all of the good news coming everyone!

i just called actually...though im sorry i didnt ask about the holds section! and i asked how many days will utlink be updating and she said theres no real timeline but they will be updating for a few days, not just like today and tomorrow. and she said the best thing to do is just check for the letter because they're printing them and mailing them now.

ive heard it has a lot to do not only with your grades but also where you took your classes. they did seem to ask that question during the interview..you know where you took your a&p..so who knows! :) but if you took them all at a university and got that high of a grade im sure you'll get in so dont worry! thats an awesome gpa! :) im still waiting too but good luck to you! im hoping tomorrow isnt the last day to find out acceptances...haha just in case i dont find anythinig out by then. maybe it'll take a few days total. im trying to be optimistic!

hey everyone! i just have a quick question for yall :) i applied for the generic program and people are slowly finding out acceptances and i was just wondering over how many days everyone found out? and did it update throughout the day? meaning you checked in the morning and said pending and then checked later and then you were accepted. bc ive been told that it updates throughout the day or that it updates only in the morning haha so yeah thanks guys and congrats to everyone who got in!!

i was wondering the same thing! id rather know either way instead of being stuck not knowing for a while...

i agree! another week is just going to distract me even more! as it is i cant even focus on school now! haha thank goodness there's nothing major going on this week..

thanks! :) but yeah that's what i was thinking. im just worried on how they are going to react when i say yes then say no! (hopefully). I feel like they are going to tell me i can't back out or something haha..stupid i know. TWU is giving us until 5pm tomorrow, so if i dont find out by then then i suppose ill just send them the yes email. However, im worried now that we're not going to find out about UT for a while because students on the accelerated blog are finding out their acceptances even today! gosh..i wish i could just call them and be like listen, i need to know NOW! haha if only...

hey guys! i have a little bit of a problem and i was wondering if anyone was in the same boat as me and maybe could give me some advice? My first choice school is uthsc houston while my second choice is twu in houston. Now, i got accepted to twu but i have to let them know if im going there by this wednesday march 24. The problem is that i haven't heard from uthsc yet. I dont know if i should just tell twu yes and then tell them no later on if i get accepted into ut or if i should say no? i dont know what to do, i thought we'd hear back from ut by now! any advice would be great! maybe we'll find out tomorrow..haha
