  1. mval637 don't be jealous you too will soon be a nurse. Relax too much pressure can cause you to make careless mistakes. I took a review course called Ilana Pfifferling Nurse Review it was awesome. Other than that I mainly did review questions. Once you study whatever source you choose, I really think the more questions you practice the better you will do. Not only are you practicing the questions like on the test, but you are learning as well. Read all the rationales if you get the answers wrong. However, I also believe sometimes you need to relax and not overload your brain. I think I studied so much and still felt it wasn't enough. You know what you know and its enough. Don't drive yourself crazy because like most people will tell you they still didn't think they did well even with all of that studing. I have faith you should too. You WILL DO IT. PASS YOUR NCLEX EXAM!!!!!!
  2. thanks gold2010. mval637 u can and will do it.
  3. I agree with not letting anyone know about your testing. Testing is hard enough without any outside interference or pressure. Anyway pray, study then let go and let God. Have faith in your self and as hard as it is stay calm and think things out but don't read into questions. Look at the stem and pay attention to what they are asking for. I just took my RN exam 2/5 with 75 questions and passed. Even when I didn't know the answer sometimes looking at the question helps to eliminate at least two answers, then you have a 50-50 chance. Stay positive think the same and you should be fine. Keep us posted
  4. :):):):yeah::yeah:Congrats plainjanie77 I knew you would do it. Isn't it the best feeling in the world. Now sit back and relax enjoy the feeling. You are officially a nurse now:nurse:. For all the rest that recently passed like myself congrats as well. For those that don't please don't be discouraged I know that sounds crazy but the hardest part is finishing school. Don't let this test bring you down, I speak from experience after failing 4 times previously. Cry if need be then dust yourself off get back on track and go for what you want. Believe me I have tried for 10 years 4 attempts later and finally can write RN behind my name. Don't give up it will happen just have faith and figure out a good study method and review course. I took Ilana Pferrling review and it was the best thing I ever did for myself including the time I spent in nursing school. The review was very thorough and easy to understand. For those that live in NY like myself in the NYC area maybe this would work for you as well. Keep your heads up don't let this keep you down:up:
  5. :yeah::yeah:I know how you feel, I took my boards on friday feb 5, 2010 and was a nervous wreck. My computer shut down at 75. I had taken the boards 4 times before and failed every time. This time I felt prepared and tried my luck again. I also tried the PVT which I just learned about on Saturday after the test. Yes, it worked for me also giving me the good pop up. I definitely believe this works and you should feel encouraged. You will get your confirmation soon. Stay positive and congratulations already because I believe you passed plainjanie77. Keep me updated:):) Mdenise RN
