Thanks Sand_Dollar! My next move is to send in the form to be placed on the call list and have my application rolled over. At the end of this semester I'll have the pre-reqs I need to apply to Metro and Regis so I'm feeling OK. It sounds like you have plenty of options lined up for yourself as well. Good Luck to you!

Hey everyone! Congratulations to those of you who were accepted, I received my letter today and knew that it was a rejection before I even opened it :-) Ah well, on to plan B. . .

SIGH! I am going out of town for the weekend, leaving tomorrow morning (before mail is delivered), but I do hope the letters are mailed today, then at least it will be waiting for me when I get home!! Good luck everyone! I will definitely post an update as soon as I know if I'm in or not.

Sand_Dollar, Interesting update! Didn't you receive a similar email in January? Hmmm. . . Ah well, HAPPY MARCH everyone! Only 30 - 40 more days of waiting. . .wondering. . . Oh, yeah, and studying! :) We need an emoticon with a big pile of books.

Hi there - I haven't read all of the replies to your post, so if someone already mentioned this I apologize! Whether you decide on CU or Regis, you should look into the loan repayment programs and nursing scholarships offered by the government; http://www.hrsa.gov/loanscholarships/repayment/nursing/. This spring/summer I'll apply to the accelerated programs at Metro State and Regis; this semester I'm taking Nutrition, Human Growth and Development and Chemistry. Beyond that I would consider the University of Portland's Alternate Entry Master's Program, but hopefully I'll have at least one more opportunity to apply to CU before that.

Hi everyone, I also applied to CU for 2010! I received the email confirming that my application was complete, small relief that led to a lot of anxiety about my chances of being accepted which is how I found this thread :) CU is my first choice and I try to just keep telling myself that I have given it my best shot, if I don't get in this time, I will definitely re-apply. For now, come on March! Good Luck everyone!
