  1. I'm not sure if this question has been asked yet. I am on the waiting list for the FTPN program at Gateway CC and I have one more co-req class to get through: Microbiology. Has anyone out there done the PN program AND another pre-req or co-req class? Can it be done successfully? I am kind of nervous about trying it.
  2. I am a graduate of RSAA's CNA program. It's an awesome school, with very helpful instructors! You won't find a program that is cheaper then RSAA's, believe me I've looked. Gateway Community College offers a CNA class, but the waiting list is 6-12 months long from what I have been told. As far as the jobing market, there are plenty of nursing homes that are looking for fresh new CNA's. It's much harder to get on with the hospitals, it's one of those "you have to know someone to get anywhere" kind of deals. Good luck!
