Kaplan does a good job on explaining how the NCLEX is tested... Go to their website. I think it will make you feel better.

Same thing happened to me. I took it on the 28th, and exactly 48 hours later... NOTHING. I had a friend who got theirs the next day so I was sweating. I finally went to the Pearson Quick Results website, paid the 8 bucks, and found I passed... :) yay. There is still nothing on the state boards website though. I think they are still processing some things.. like my background check, so my results wont show on that website until everything has been checked off of the check list. But Im so thankful for that 8 bucks spent well! Go to your state board website, then find your application, it should say if its got everything, there should be a checklist, if not everything is checked, it may be your reason for the delay.

Hey. Before you read the answers.. look at the question and find out what its asking you.. what does this question want to know? Is it infection control? is it diet? Look at alllll your answers... what is priority? If you could do ONE thing and walk away from the patient forever, what would it be? Think of your ABC's but Airway is not always the answers.. for example in ectopic pregnancy... it would be fluid over O2. The drugs are not going to fail you! Don't freak out over that so much. Know your drugs such as Morphine, Dilantin, Demerol, Lithium, digoxin, insulin info. Know your diets e.g. Heart disease, Celiac, UC/C, KNOW YOUR PRECAUTIONS!!!! Contact/Airborne/Standard and what they apply to. Good luck! Take your time on each question. Kaplan is a good review. Thats the only thing I did.. I didnt study like a maniac. Passed at 75 and thought I blew it! Eat a good breakfast...some say scrambled eggs and blueberries help with memory. I ate the eggs, no berries for me yuk.

Hi. I just took the NCLEXRN on 01/28. I thought I had failed miserably when the test ended at 75, but I found out from the QuickResults I passed :) I got at least 12 select all that apply which I suck at. I felt like i didnt know anything on that test. Here are some things to focus on.... Precautions...Contact/Airborne/Standard... know everything about them. Roseola is what precaution? Know about your insulins and peak times. Know about diets regarding Heart Disease, Celiac, Ulcerative colitis/chrons, etc You know.. the important diets. Know your labs so you can feel comfortable when they ask you about it. Its going to seem so hard while you are taking it, but take a deep breath on each question and really focus only on that before you hit the next button. Dont fret about the drug/medication questions... you are not going to fail because you are not familiar with the drugs. You can do it!
