I've already started looking for places and contacted a few realtors, and am heading down to Boston probably Wednesday (I currently live in Vermont) to check out a bunch of studios in the Fenway and Brookline areas. You are right, everything is SO expensive! It would be wonderful to get lucky and find a nice place on my first trip down, but I'm not expecting much. Just out of curiosity, what realtor did you go through? I need all the help I can get! Also, do you know if there is any sort of forum/facbook group or anything for people coming into our class? I would love to get in touch with as many people possible before we start! Thanks for your help:)

Thanks PsychRN! I'm really excited, hope you are too!! I heard that we are supposed to be getting a "Welcome Packet" sometime soon, hopefully that'll have some more info in it! Do you have any idea of where you're going to live yet?

ilovemountains-how were you notified of your acceptance to Northeastern? snail mail or email?

I did not get an interview, which makes me think that maybe they sent out acceptance letters before wait list and rejection letters. But the message on the website said they wouldn't even be mailed out until next week... I wonder how you got yours so early! Their whole process has been a bit confusing....

Has anyone else received a letter? I live in Burlington and was surprised to hear that people have gotten letters... being so close to UVM, I thought I would be one of the first to hear! I looked on the MEPN website and they have changed their post, which now says the letters will be mailed out the week of the 16th, not the 8th! Any thoughts?

PsychRN- The interview was with the program director and lasted about 30 minutes. She was very nice, converstational and casual and seemed very excited about the program. She asked a few basic questions about what my motivation was to become an NP, why I liked NEU, what I saw myself doing in 5 year etc. She then said I should expect to hear from them within in a month. I hope that helps... has anyone else heard about interviews?

My interview is tomorrow, and I was asked to interview via an email I recieved on the 13th... Thanks!

Allie2010, I had my application in by early December and was emailed about my interview, which is tomorrow, on Jan 13th.... good luck!

I don't know what admissions offices do in that particular situation, but I have heard of some schools who will consider late applicants if their total applicant pool isn't too big! ETS usually gets the scores out and to the schools pretty quickly though so who knows! Good luck!

Hi! I saw some people wondering about when they might hear from Northeastern... I was offered an interview at Northeastern last week for Jan 26th... I had all my application info in pretty early which is probably why I heard so early!
