Hi everyone! What an excruciatingly long wait! I have been lurking on this page to see if others that have applied had gotten in. Today I got an email with advising pin assignment and one for registration assignment but nothing from any counselor or phone call. I just emailed my counselor to see if this means what I think it means.

Do you remember where we are supposed to meet for this? I didn't see it on the sheet they gave us with the dates and times.

Where are we supposed to go for the degree audit? I thought I wrote it down somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

I picked up my box of books today. It is 34.7lbs worth of books. I bought the ebox as well.

Has anyone gotten their polos? The website doesn't really give much information on which one we are supposed to buy. I very well may have missed something along the way and would appreciate any assistance. Thanks!

FYI the box of books is not available yet. I just called there and they should be in some time this week. They couldn't be delivered last week due to spring break.

II was just on the site last night. The code is on top of the form that breaks down what we need to order. Its FSCJ not FCCJ.

I don't have a preference where we meet, I'll make the drive. I live on the Westside and so far those of us that want to meet live in different areas. I'm free all day Sunday up to 5:00. So anyplace and time before that I'm game. Butterflymom - do you mind maybe making it a little closer to Mandarin so Misti can make it as well? SaraFL - too bad you can't make it this weekend. Anyone else care to join us? The more the merrier:)

I may be beating a dead horse but are we going to try to meet this weekend? It would be nice to meet my fellow classmates and posters. If so when and where?

I have been trying to figure that out myself. I need to know for work purposes. Hopefully we'll get some idea of scheduling at orientation.

In a previous post on the hopefuls board someone mentioned you can buy your own khaki pants. Anything that needs the patches sewn on I would suggest you get from meridys. I'm having trouble deciding what size to order as I have lost weight and am in between sizes. It would be helpful for me if they have samples of the sizes at orientation. BTW has there been a decision on whether or not we are going to try to meet? It's been mentioned but I don't remember seeing much else about it.

I tend to agree with you. In LPN school we just bought whatever stethoscope we wanted to buy. They also didn't suggest a particular one and the one I bought worked just fine. I'm going to go with a Littman but a cheaper one than the cardiology III. I figure we are spending enough.

So has anyone started buying the other supplies such as stethoscope and bp cuff? I know they said the profs prefer the littman cardiology III but I'm not sure that's the one I want to go with. Littman is the best brand to go with but there are so many versions to choose from. Any ideas or thoughts on this?
