  1. Hi- I think that is the care center area more like the post acute they also have a "nursing home" portion as well. I am not over there alot so dont have alot of info although i know that they have hired a few new grads for over there as well.
  2. What floor? I started there about 2 months ago and love it. Be consistent with the recruiter. Are you a new grad?
  3. I will be interviewing next week for the WICU new grad position. I am so excited yet nervous. Has anyone interviewed for this floor or currently work on this floor that can offer advice? Thank you
  4. Does anyone have any tips on getting in at JHH as a new grad? Are positions starting to open up. I check every day for NC positions and have recently applied for 2, one surgery and one surgery ICU. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
  5. @ PolaBar or others who have gotten an interview and hired, How long did it take? I applied a month ago but was wanting to do the July start because I just graduated and passed my NCLEX. I tried to call but they said they do not do status updates. Is it just a waiting game? thank you
  6. @nurs_I_want_to_be Any tips on getting into Hopkins or Washington Hospital Center? I just applied to the WHC for JULY 2012 nurse residency but wanted to know how long the process takes. I am really wanting to relocate and would love to work at Hopkins.
  7. Hi, I cannot give my feedback yet because I will just be starting in June. I am very excited and after all my research I feel Rush offers alot! I know there are previous posts about the differences with depaul so if you look up a ways you may see something. If you have any questions during the process let me know. steph
  8. Are you from il?
  9. Congrats! I received my acceptance as well :) I can't wait
  10. Great. Yes I was told I would know by next week I can't wait to find out!
  11. how did the interview go?
  12. The presentation is very helpful just gives you a break down of the program and answers any questions you have Good luck!
  13. Hi! Congrats and good luck. Just be yourself do not let your nerves get to you. I interviewed with one other professor for about 25 minutes. It was pretty basic...why do you want to go into nursing? why rush? talk about yourself basically. They told us when we were done that decisions would be sent the first week of March. Keep me posted.
  14. Has anyone else heard back? Just curious... Hope the best for everyone!
  15. Thanks! I am both excited and nervous! Hopefully they call you soon. That's funny my bachelors is in pre law as well. No I am not a nurse that is my hope soon :)
