  1. The majority of the test is multiple choice but there are a couple questions where you have to type in an answer. I was scared too but I studied from the guide. Math was my worst subject in school so I studied it like crazy and it ended up being my highest score because I studied so hard for it ;-)
  2. Yeah, I hear ya about the GI Bill taking forever. I turned in my paperwork on Aug 6th in order to get my certificate of eligibility. I still do not have it and it is 6th months later. Chamberlain also will not send any paperwork to the VA until you have been there for 3 weeks so they can make sure you dont drop from school. So once they turn that in who knows how long the VA will take to process my payments Thank goodness it is tax time. I was also informed we should not use specific names of employees at the school. They edited my last post and took out my admissions rep's name....ooops Take care
  3. Thats great news. Are you going to be attending the St. Louis On-site BSN program? I havent seen many post on here for the STL location. Good luck with the loans and Pell Grants. I am hoping to qualify for Pell Grants as well to help me out financially. I am quitting work to focus on School so I am really nervous about how we will afford everything on 1 income but We'll have to struggle for a while in order to live more comfortably in the future..I hope!
  4. I heard that they dont accept alot of transfers so you may want to sit down with an advisor just to make sure you are on the right path as far as Pre-reqs gol. They want you to have a specific class in order for them to accept your transfers. I am doing the full 3 years for the on-site BSN in St. Louis. I dont have any pre-reqs but my school is completely paid for by the military so cost is not an option for me. I do know that they are very expensive if cost is a determaining factor for you so if you can take classes at a CC I would suggest that, just make sure they will transfer so you dont waste your time and money. Good luck with everything!!
  5. Oops I posted twice on accident
  6. I am starting the BSN on-site program in March. I just finished the whole application and admission process. I did not take the SAT/ACT either. If you havent taken one of those then you must take the A2 test. It wasnt that bad. I have been out of school for 9 years so I did need to study the math portion but I can say it wasnt too terribly hard. You will also have to give them a copy of your highschool transcripts. I believe you need a minimum GPA of 2.5 or something like that. The entire process isnt that bad. If you have other questions let me know
  7. This message is for Ivaliav.... It would not let me reply to your private message for some reason. I was accepted for the July 2010 session. I was told I took my test too late so other people's files were completed before mine. They said if an opening became available for the March session it would go to the "best of the best" in line. I meet with my advisor tonight actually....Good luck to you
  8. I took my test a couple of weeks ago. I received a 87% on the entrance exam and have about a 2.8 GPA. I was told my file would be reviewed today. I was curious if any of you know how long it would take to get an acceptance or denial letter after your file is reviewed. I hope I get in. I have been counting on starting in March 2010.
