  1. I don't know what the term is or what it means. I just saw a post that mentioned "Q-tip thing" and I didn't know what it was. What is EQip? Thanks
  2. Hi I am beginning my application process for the USPHS, what is the "Q-tips thing", and does it usually take that long to do a background check? Thanks
  3. Thanks so much for your reply. Good luck on Monday. I have found this website to be extremely helpful and more informative that speaking to recruiters. I'm sure I will have more questions as I go through the process, at leat I know now it can take 2-6 months to become active. Anymore general application tips would be great. Happy Holiday!!!
  4. Hello, I have recently decided to apply to the USPHS, and have been reading most of these posts. Just needed a little clarification. Does your rank depend on degree or experience or both. I have a Master's degree, but only 3 yrs of nursing experience. Thanks
