I just completed my accelerated BSN from Union University in Tennessee. It was VERY expensive. However, I would actually suggest doing this program instead of the community college ADN degree. I completed the program in 11 months and 5 days. If you are a good student and have a good work ethic, this is the way to go. I do have more debt than I would, but TIME IS MONEY. You will be able to start working faster. Just my thoughts! Good luck.

Hey, I am moving to Houston from Tennessee to start work at MD Anderson in January 2010. HR told me that there are 60 new grad nurses starting in the residency program, and I was hoping to connect with some of you! Also, since I am moving to the area, I was wondering if any experienced nurses know where the safest places are to live. I am in need of a roommate as well, so if you know anyone who has a room for rent or is looking for a roommate, please pm me. If anyone has any advice about MD Anderson, the Houston area, PACU nursing (that is what I will be doing), the Grad Nurse Residency program, or just words of wisdom, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Also, is there a facebook group for MD Anderson nurses? Just curious! Thanks. :heartbeat
