  1. hi eknicurn! what do you mean by a few people have left recently? did the applicants back out? or there have been some staff that resign? so interns still have the chance to leave during orientation? how is the tenure of interns during orientation? can they just be terminated anytime during probationary? thanks!
  2. Hi boisern84! Being able to stay for 2 years can also mean that you're enjoying your work, isn't it? how was your usual day in the unit? does the unit need some additional staff at the moment? or it has been filled out?

  6. But your really lucky to have an interview with them,, I know someone who also applied there with a DC license but haven't heard anything yet... So they might have seen something really special in your application for giving you that chance! :)
  7. BTW, do you have past working experience in a healthcare setting?
  8. Goodluck! For sure you'll do well,, mild anxiety can help bring out the best in you! Keep us posted about your experience in WHC! thanks!
  9. HI Happiness5! I have read in some posts that they're giving patient scenarios, then asks what if questions... plus the usual interview questions... congrats that you've been given a chance for interview,, when did you pass your application? how long does it take before you hear a call from them? I think it's a good unit, because I've talked to some staff of other departments and they've also started working there and they said they learned a lot,,
  10. How does the internship program goes? how many days are lecture days and duty in the first few weeks? new grad RNs kindly give us an idea.. thank you!

  13. hi ufblondi! on what area are you working? how was the program? so they do not require any commitment after the program.. well, that's good news.. thanks for the info!
  14. Congratulations to both of you! On what unit are you accepted? Are you new grads? I am also interested to work with WHC but haven't received a call yet... So they are filling 2 programs already? one in feb and one for july? Hope to hear from both of you.. :) BTW, I've also heard regarding the commitment for a certain period of time after the orientation but I can't see it on their website... Maybe you should contact the nurse recruiter...
