  1. Thanks Sophie!!!! I will keep the prayers going up for you I am sure you will get your letter soon!
  2. :yeah:I am so excited!!!! Would really love to meet some classmates and make some friends...I know it is going to be a challenge, but I am up for it. I will be starting the BSN program at Queens University of Charlotte (PSON) in January. I hear it is a really good program and the instructors are very helpful. If anyone has any experience or tips in regards to PSON, I would greatly appreciate the info. I am fairly new to the area, moved back to NC in 2005 aftering having lived in VA since the late 1980's. I am married and I have 2 kids, son (13) and daughter (3). I have worked in computers for the last 10 years and I cannot wait to finally get to do something I am passionate about! Congrats to everyone getting started in nursing school:anpom: and those finishing up!:dncgbby:
  3. Hello, everyone. My name is Brooke and I live on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC. I have been in the IT industry for way toooooo long. I am currently working as an IT Analyst in software design and user acceptance. I have always wanted to go into Nursing, but being a single momma and having no family made it kind of difficult. In 2005, I married into a wonderful family that is sooooo supportive and I am finally pursuing my dream. I hope to specialize in Oncology, as I lost my grandmother to cancer about 9 yrs ago and the process impacted me greatly. I am a math nerd by nature and I love science as well. My poor husband has to sit through countless hours of the discovery channel in addition to my other nerdy pleasures! I have been accepted to Queens University PSON for spring 2010 in the BSN program and I am totally excited . I know it will be tough (understatement of the year), but well worth it!!!!
