  1. I absolutely agree with your decision. It makes you wonder how the patient feels when they're being ignored....rather than being treated like a person especially while getting the intimate care of a bath
  2. :redpinkhe Concorde is accepting up to 18 transfer credits (basically the prereqs) if you received an A or a B. The biggest deal maker for me is that in 4 months I will already be starting clinicals at a hospital.
  3. Ty! I know it is expensive, but this is how I decided to rationalize it....If I was to apply/be accepted into one of the other local colleges my expected wait list time is 1-1.5 years and I will be done with the program by then. So even if the program is twice the cost of BC/MDC/Nova/etc I know I will make up the difference from the pay increase over that year and a half I would have been on the wait list. Did you like that rational? Did it see convincing? I have to tell myself that everytime I experience heart palpitations when I look at my loan paperwork Good luck in what you decide!
  4. No problem, I certainly didn't sign a confidentiality agreement The current term is running 38k over 18 months. The NET was extremely easy...think addition, subtraction, percentages, with a dash of pre-algebra for Math and basic reading comprehension for English. I used http://www.testprepreview.com/nursing_practice.htm (Net Test can be selected from the left) for my review.
  5. The RN program started it's first day today, 11/30/2009. It looks like the next class will sit around April. As far as testing, they have you do a Wonderlic first then the NET test. I started today with the RN program....I'm thrilled :)
