  1. thanks everyone I got my official results and I did pass now I have to find that first job As far as studying went I did Kaplan on demand which I think helped me alot
  2. I took my Nclex today and almost threw up when it shut off at 75 questions. I didn't count but I had a lot of select all that applies and priority questions. When the screen turned blue I was in disbelief. I felt like i most likely failed. I did the PVT and it gave me the "good pop up" so now I'm more confident these quick results couldnt come faster!!!

  4. I got into the nursing program and did not take english or psych at wcccd. So I would apply and take a&p 2 over if you want. I did have all A's in my prereqs but I think you could still get in
  5. Has anyone gotten their ace passport emails yet?
  6. I was at Northwest too and had the same teacher for skills lab at two. She was there. And it really was just a breakdown of communication. The college asked the nursing program to change the 110 lectures to either be T/ TH or M/W in order to make it easier to book a room. It used to be M/ Th so the department changed it to T/ Th and never told the professors. So I don't really think she can be blamed. By the way the teacher who didnt show up at Northwest is extremely nice and she said she would lay out exactly what we need to know and not to worry because we "will be so smart" So don't worry she felt bad for missing class and isn't going to take it out on us. :)
  7. I decided I am going to have a suitcase in my trunk of my car... and in it I am going to keep my nursing stuff... Including a spare lab uniform and other materials... and spare street clothes in case I ever decided to do normal people things after class... Lol sure those wont get used much :) I have lab and lecture on tuesday so sweats it will be for me... not so bad in this weather though at least we aren't in class when its 90 degrees out lol
  8. Oh by the way.... My classes got changed on webgate to match the pod sheet so anyone else with that problem check webgate and its probably fixed
  9. That is what i was wondering... Thanks I bought the clinical outfit from discount uniform today and I'm an inbetween medium and large so obviously I went big... but its so boxy feeling I dont like it at all. So I might return the pants and find something that fits better
  10. Just how picky are they about the pants? I found the tops that I want but not pants. And has anyone gotten their ace passport emails yet? Less than a week to go!
  11. Thanks for the info that is extremely helpful. Good thing I didnt assume webgate was right and miss my first day of 110. I would have had a heart attack. And the first three chapters are extremely boring!!!!!!!! Anyone else in pods 5-8... I'm in pod 8
  12. Thanks for the input everyone. And so far for reading I have read one chapter for 110 and read the first few in the skills book. Its just easier to read I guess. Hopinh this week I knock out the rest on the list for week one. I also need to find out from the nursing office if I should go off of the pod sheet they gave us or webgate for my Nur 110 lecture time. Because they don't match. Should probably do that soon.
  13. So school starts in just over a week. I'm so excited/ anxious. Just wondering what my fellow wcccd future nurses are doing to prepare. I still need to get some white tees. White socks so I have more that I can easily match, and some black pens stuff like that. going to order my clinical uniform off the internet I think. My very first class on tuesday is skills lab, so I also want opinions on what to bring to the first class. Thanks Much. Good luck to everyone
  14. I am actually in the metro detroit area. guess that would have been helpful I think I'm probably going to shoot for one time a week for a few hours. Thinking about DMC hopefully maybe childrens
