  1. I am also a student at EVIT. Before you seriously consider entering this program, you ought to that they have just been issued a deficiency by the state board. The program has some very serious problems and they have been given only 60 days to fix them before the program is closed. Akhere is entitled to her opinion, but she seems to be the only one in the program who thinks the way she does about it. The rest of us are pretty upset. No one was told before entering that it is a self-taught program with instructors as "guides". In three months, we have passed off only a handful of skills. When we go to clinicals we have little to do except help out CNA's. Before I applied to EVIT, I would wait and see if they are able to make the needed changes. By the way, EVIT is not able to accept students for next year right now - another thing from the state board.
