  1. I am new to this forum and noticed this post. I am begining nursing school in Fall 2010 and I am looking forward to it. Last night in my microbiology class I started thinking that maybe this field is not for me since I have ITP and on my way to being diagnosed with lupus --I have many of the symptoms and take medication for lupus, just planequil. I guess I just want the reassurance that I will be fine. At this moment I feel great. I workout regularly, haven't had a sick day in 2 years. I guess as long as I feel good - I shouldn't let it stay in the way of my dreams, right? Thanks for all help and guidance.
