actually i just got accepted to another university but it is not fair what they put the students through so i am definitely not burnt.... they said you one out of the 30 alternate students who were accepted and are officially accepted into our nursing program.... I am lucky that I have another school to go but many others don't which is not fair to give hope 2 someone and take it all away... it also doesnt make sense that they said one out of 30 alternates because 30 students got accepted and there were 77 alternates they could have said you are 1 out of the 77 alternates not 1 out of 30...the people working there didn't even no what excuse to give for their mistake and said that they got many complains today....anyways good luck to everyone hope you guys get accepted somewhere else as well or maybe even LACC :) hehe

I don't understand these people at lacc . i am definitely going to complain and and see the presidentt of the school for this matter. I was just told that i am just an alternate and that i am number 60 which is very far which means i basically dont even have a shot at being accepted.

Hello everyone i was hopping someone would help me figure out which college to choose. Well I was accepted into the Mount st. Marys ADN program and i accepted their offer thinking I might not get accepted to the other colleges but i got my letter of acceptance from LACC nursing program today and i am not sure which is a better option Mount st Marys college which has a better reputation but is private which costs about 38000 and LACC (Los angeles city College) which is public and only costs 5000. Which one would you pick and Y. I cant decide they are both 15 min away from my house so distance is not an issue

I applied to mount st Marys college nursing program and i recently got accepted I starts next semester, with the high tuition i was hoping scholarships or some kind of grants would help me pay it off I also heard of a program called loan forgiveness but don't have too much information about it can anyone tell me how to apply for scholarships or grants.... from what website or where do i go...thank you

hello, you are fine you have nothing to worri about I also went to GCC and was not accepted because my name was not pulled out of the lottery but im happy that I got accepted here I heard that it is a great schol my overall gpa was 3.3 and my science gpa 3.4 i believe....

tnx for the comment i got my acceptance letter today 2 :) but before that on november 25th they called me for an interview and told me that i would be hearing from them in december and i received it today

Hello I just need advise on students who have applied to the nursing programs and are currently waiting. I have applied and got rejected from Glendale Community College. I made the list but was not selected from the lottery. I am very nervous and worried that my name might not get picked from the other colleges that i applied 2 any advise on what I should do if I don't get accepted I am very worried.
