Hey guys, I just applied at TWU for the houston campus. I am now in the process of studying for the HESI so that hopefully i will pass it and fill out the app. for the nursing program. My GPA is currently 3.8 and i should finish my associates by December. I have heard different stories like the GPA that i have will not get me into the program, that the HESI is too hard. It had been 10 years that i had not gone to school. My my dad and sister went through cancer at the same time and I was dissapointed that i could not help them. This is what motivated me to go back to school to become a nurse. But after hearing all these comments I'm not sure if i should continue. Do you'll think that my GPA will help me getting into a university. I just got an e-mail from UT rejecting my application. I am so dissapointed . Any comments on what else i can do that might help me getting into the program.
