  11. Hi nursejewels! i checked the link that you posted, and im interested on doing hands on volunteer service. However, i couldn't find the application process on their website. can you tell me how did apply for it? i would appreciate any information that you will share. :)
  12. yeah sure.. i havent taken teas test too. maybe saddleback is just not meant for me. hope we both get in to a nursing program sooner.
  13. I only applied to Saddleback. I was suppose to apply in GWC, but on their website it said that only GWC or OCC students could apply for January. The rest who took the pre-requisite classes to other colleges could only apply this coming October. Im also planning to apply in Cypress. Anyway, have you taken pharmacology and gerontology in Saddleback?
  14. no, they didn't contact me. Ive tried calling them, but no one's answering.
  15. hello there! i got my letter today.. i think i didnt get in. they said that im on the 3rd pool of applicants, and they have an alternate list, and 2nd pool of applicants. they are advising me to take pharma and gero, N61. now i dont know if i should follow their advise. they said that im not guaranteed that i will have a slot in spring 2011.. ahh i hate it. how about you? what is your plan? are you gonna take those classes too?
  16. i think i didn't get in.. their letter wass quite vague.. they didnt say that i didnt get in, but im on the 3rd selection pool. and they have an alternate list and 2nd pool.. they're advising me to take pharmacology and gerontology classes. i dont know if i should follow their advise or not.
  17. i havent recieved the letter yet. i think im not gonna get in.. i got all A's in bio classes, but my over all gpa is 3.5! =(( this is sad! =((((
  18. yeah, you're right. once they change their admitting process it would be completely dfferent, and i dont think i will be able to get in.. thanks for your information.i hope we both get in for fall 2010;).
  19. hi wildemel! thanks for your reply. yes I got A's in anatomy, physiology, and microbiology. What i meant with my last semester gpa is my gpa from the most recent semester (fall 09).
  20. hello there, I also applied for their Fall 10 rn program.. I just want to ask what are my chances to get in? I have a 4.0 on my bio and 4.0 on my last semester gpa. However, my over-all college gpa is 3.5,and that is because of my previous classes that i had C's on..
  21. hello everyone.. i just want to know how much does it cost for the entire 2 yrs rn program of saddleback college? im planning to apply there this coming feb 16, and also in golden west this jan 11. i checked the cost of golden west rn program, and it was $4800 something. im not sure if saddleback college has the same tuition fee.
  22. Yes it is credited. I know for sure because i had my transcripts been evaluated there, and also my friends who graduated from the philippines had there transcript evaluation in AERC. But, im not a BSN graduate in ph. I started my college here and still continuing. Goodluck with your endeavors.
  23. you can have your transcript evaluation in AERC. check their website http://www.aerc-eval.com/ then after your trascripts been evaluated try to apply to any UC or CSU for a graduate program. btw, what hospital are you working in?
  24. Im planning to apply in Golden West too, but i read from the previous thread that the instructors from the rn progam in golden west are quite scary. Is that true? and uhm.. do you know what color is their uniform? i just want to know.
  25. Hi Apgar10! thanks for your reply, i appreciated it. although my last semester gpa is 3.45, my science prereqs are 4.0. Im planning to apply next year (feb) for fall 2010, but im not sure if i will be able to get in to their program by fall 2010..
