  1. Thanks, that gives me some insight on how to plan for the summer.
  2. I am trying to find out so info because I need to plan ahead because we are starting in June and my kids will be geting out of school in June I have made plans for that month. But do you are anyone know if there will be a gap after our first 6 weeks ending on July 11th. So my question is will we be out untill August because I know we are suppose to merge with the second year class. And when do you guys go back? What day? I need to plan the summer for my kids.
  3. I must have step out when they went over that and also the scrub store will have the patches or is that something you purchase from the school store. That must have discussed very briefly right before they went over books.
  4. Well for June and 1st weel of July it is L.V that's her intials. When did they tell you guys about uniforms we received no information about that and we have clinical the second day of school.
  5. I also have her for clinicals at Conroe Regional and she was my VN instructor and she is. I was wondering why we didn't get information on uniforms.
  6. Well the job I have I really don't care for I was promised a whole lot of things never got it. It is not a job worthy of me trying to go to school and hold at the same time. And my family and I are planning a trip for May.
  7. Well I have put in my two weeks resignation but my employer wants me to continue working. So I will see how that work out. It was not part of my plan but I will go with it for now.
  8. And I heard that we will have 2 dosage calculation test. Wow !!!!!! I can only remember one test in the Lvn program and Math is really not one of my stronger subjects so if that's true I guess I better get a jump on it and brush up a little.
  9. So I went to the Rediclinic and they charge 90 for the MMR titer and 59 for the varicella titer however if your insurance will cover then you may get it cheaper(mines didn't cover) . So the total cost was 149.00 because they charge a 10.00 lab fee and the P.A said I should have the results in a couple of days. Other than that I am looking forward to orientation on Thursday and getting started. Does anyone have any idea of how many days a week we will have? I assume they will tell us in orientation but I just am curious.
  10. Yes, I did upload some documents and all were accepted except 2. I have the record showing I received the immunization but they need the lab work to show titers wether I am immune are not so I have to get that done then I will have completed everything. How about you?
  11. Thanks Stephalump for your info, I am looking forward to getting started but will be more thrilled when its over and we graduate.
  12. I am not sure I understand, so what you are saying that we have two more dosage calculation test? In the Lvn program there was only one and you had to score 90%. So do both test count, cause I know after 3 tries you were out. Does the same rule apply are is it different? And I appreciate your responses. Thanks
  13. Hi, I am going to merge with you because I am doing the transition program starting in June. But I wanted to ask have you guys took the dosage calculation exam yet or do you take that in your second year? And I assume if you haven't took it yet then we will be taking it when we join. And also how many students did your class start off with and how many are there now? Just wondering since they take 30 transition students, that seems like that is enough students by itself.
  14. Hello, I got in at Montgomery for the transition program. Yay!!!!!
  15. Hi, I was not aware that this thread was started for transition applicants, so I have been posting to the basic track thread. But, I applied to Montgomery as my first choice and Tomball as my second. I recieved my letter on March 30th my score was a 10.9. I am preparing all the necessary paperwork that was mailed out with the letter and I have completed my physical and now have a bunch of documents to scan in to the the certified background website they gave to us. I am excited to be going back to school and looking foward to orientation in April. Does anyone know exactly what day in June the classes start?
  16. I believe that the transition applicants had a quick turn around because as licensed nurses we are already in the Texas Board of Nursing system. So I guess it would be easier to clear transition students especially if you recieve your license through TX. BON.
  17. April 25 from 3-7pm is Montgomery orientation for the transition program not sure if basic track and transition will be held together. This is the only date and time listed.
  18. Keep in mind it was for the Transition Program it was a 10.9. It may be a little different for the basic track because it tends to have more applicants.
  19. Thanks, And I made a mistake because the mail doesn't run on Sunday I meant Saturday. I believe the basic track and the transition students combine after you have completed your first year in the basic track. Yes, I hope to meet you in Aug and looking foward to start the program and get things rolling. Again Good Luck to all. Anything worth having is worth waiting for. You will know soon.
  20. HI I applied for the Transition program at Montgomery and I have been reading everyone's post to see what was current. I have been out of town since Thur and just made it back today. Anyway long story short my acceptance letter was in my mail box when I checked it today. YES!!! It was sent out on the 28th and must have came today. So hopefully you guys will be receiving yours soon. Good Luck and best wishes to everyone.
  21. Thanks Hemcdougall Yeah, being able to select all 4 would increase your chance of getting accepted as well but its only 1st/2nd pick. So I know its a hard decision and I wish you well and hope that we will make the cut.
  22. Hello everyone I have been searching and waiting for fellow applicants to share this long process with. I am applying for Montgomery and have submitted my app. with hopes of being accepted. So, I guess from here until March it will be a long wait.
