  1. Alright, so I need everyone's help. My friends played a really mean joke on me by calling me and pretending her husband (someone I go to school with) beat her and she wanted a divorce and was calling the cops. They took it way too far and used their acting skills to make him yell at her for telling me and pretending to hit her even more (this was all over the phone). I was shaking by the end of the conversation.. So, I wanna play a joke on the both of them that's got them really wigged out, but I'm not sure what. That's where I need your help. I was thinking of calling him and asking if he had any signs of HIV because someone he's been sexually active with is positive for it and we're screening everyone she's been with. What do you think?
  2. Lol, that's SUPER competitive. I didn't even know it was that bad. Once I'm in the program I wont be trying to compete with others, instead I'll just be focusing on myself and doing well for myself. Anytime I feel exhausted from all of this competition, I think of the outcome if I continue and I don't stop because of that. You shouldn't either! Hopefully, we will all win! Hopefully I'll see you around the school in the future. (If I get in, that is)
  3. I know it's pretty frustrating, I've been in school for about three years now (Even took a course to get my CNA certification for a community college Nursing program) and most of it wont count for anything, but that's my own fault. I've taken up to Calc 1 in college so if they didn't accept my math I'd probably be pretty upset. The process of getting into a nursing school is tedious to me..I am not good with competition at all. I work really well unless I know I'm competing with others. So all this competitiveness really irks me..can't wait for it to be over with already lol
  4. Yeah I wasn't sure why they needed a HS transcript, figured it was for the GPA. It seems like the only people having problems with the school are the ones with degrees who aren't getting very many credits transferred, and the ones who are doing poorly at the school. That's good you're going to stick with it next year. I just got my evaluation back the other day. 25/70 credits transferred. It's reasonable for me because the other classes I took were pre req's for pharmacy (switched majors). There's one class they didn't take that I wish they would, but 3 credits doesn't really bother me that much. Hopefully if I get in I can get my BSN in roughly two years and maybe another quarter or so.
  5. There's some great information in this thread, thank you everyone! I am new to this website. I applied for the fall semester this past Tuesday. They ask for all of your transcripts, including high school and ACT scores. I have about a 3.10 cumulative GPA (3.89 HS GPA) and I scored a 23 on the ACT. Took the Hesi and got a 91.1% (my advisor told me the students applying should at least be in the B range). I bought the A2 study guide which looks extremely helpful, but I didn't use it because I detest standardized tests and procrastinate them to the max. There was no Physics on the exam which I was happy about. The math is easy. The human anatomy was the hardest subject on that exam for me. Mr. Ryan said that I would be receiving an evaluation on how many credits they accept from previous schools (I have roughly 70 credit hours) within 7-10 days. He also said I will be notified whether I am accepted or not within 4-6 weeks. I understand it is expensive, but so is every other private school. If money is an issue, I suggest looking at community colleges. Also, I've been trying to pay the $95 application fee via telephone, but every time I call, I get an answering machine. Guess they don't want their money after all!
