Invega Sustenna Initial loading and booster
Thanks Altra for a fast reply. Still, it does not explain why we give the first 2 doses in the Deltoid.

Invega Sustenna Initial loading and booster
So, I was informed that I have to give Invega Sustenna Initial loading and booster in the Deltoid only. Does any nurses out there know the rational why?

I'm just sad :(
Thanks for the input twinmommy! I have not thought about nursing home or small clinics yet. Reason being is because I want to get really sharp with my skills. But if I have no choice, then maybe I will get watever is on table.

Completely agree with you. That is why I am working on my English now and also re-read my kaplan book so I dont forget what I have learned. Hopefully, that I dont have to read and learn for too long....

I'm just sad :(
The joy comes to me when I know that I passed the nursing school. Nursing school was hard but I was never a quiter. I am happier when I receive my state license. Passing NCLEX, I'm a nurse now. I'm proud of myself (self center...maybe). But my dream comes true. I thought I could make a differences .... after NCLEX. However, it has been 4 months now and I am still unemployment. I have been seeking for a job for 4 months. First, I thought ok that is a job I like...I got an interview...yeah "u have no experience". Ok, that position is my second favorite ... "we hired too many new grad..." 4 big hospitals in area and not a single position for me? is it because my English is broken; I was not so bright in class? or ...for whatever reasons. My passion, my care, my love, my commitment... I cant carry out unless I have a job. I just feel sad and disappointed.

Help me pleaseee!!!
1 vote for Hurst review. They are good. I used them and pass the second time few days ago. What I did was I watched Hurst videos, and do what they told me to do. I make sure I know their package word by word. I did their NCLEX training 120 questions and Mock Nclex 120 questions (i think). Because I know the package so I can rationalize question and pick the right answer base on knowledge I got from the package. For example: lets say u hear a word "Cushing Syndrome" what come to your mind? You can memorize "Up Up Up Down Up" for "hyperglycemia, Hypertension, Hypernatremia, HypoKalemia, Hypervolemia". But if you dont know the causes, or the "Why" of it, I dont think you fully understand and may have a chance to miss a question. ***What come to my mind is "steroid, there are 4 funtions of steroid, so its too much then what happen? so what kinda S&S pt will have base on those messed up funtions. What can I do for them? what med they have? Simple SE of those med...? what treatment pt will receive? complications of those treatments?" These questions will pop up in your mind if you study the package well. Base on these you will find the right choice out of 4. For me, doing many questions is not as affective as knowing why this option is wrong or not necessary at this time.

Failed NCLEX-RN... what now?
I passed last Friday with 75 question. But I dont know if this will help u, but hope u the best. I think it does not matter which review you do. The important thing is what you get out from that review. Every review has their own weakness and strong points. It's just the way they represent the content to you. Do they make any senses to you or not. For me, Hurst was very good. I took ATI, Kaplan but it did not work the first time. Hurst tells you why you have this, why u have that so I dont have to memorize the S&S of disorders. You just know the "WHY", therefore you also know the interventions because u know the S&S. Although, I failed once and pass the second time; I dont think NCLEX is hard at all. You just have to know how to study. So, study the right way will help u pass. With that in mind, I know I fail because I was not study the right way. U may wonder "what is the right way?". Well, for me, the right way is when you see a name of a illness, what is popping up in your mind. For example, I say "Cushing syndrome"; what comes to your mind? What comes to my mind is "steroid disorder, what are the functions of this steroid? what could happen if its too much or too little? Ok, so its too much, pt has these S&S. WHY they have these S&S???? what is the least invasives thing that I can do for this pt? what med? .... Yes, I did.
