Thank you rsh24bsn! I start July 9th , Mixed Hematology Unit (my friend had her clinicals there last semester and loved it, so I'm very excited), day shift . Yes, it was a very random call at 10 am on Monday but hope you hear great news soon!

I just txt her, not sure yet but I know she is working nights though...when I interviewed I said day shift so who knows..I don't really know how they're choosing candidates

I also received the same call and email , I was hoping for a call that I actually got hired though ;/ . My friend was hired today. I'm happy for everyone who got a call! Congrats!

Hey guys, just want to let you know that I spoke to the nurse recruiter today and she told me that they're still trying to pair up ppl with their preferences so it'll take a bit longer but that means there is still hope!!

I agree with you rsh24bsn, it does seem like it's taking forever. They were fast about scheduling interviews and so on but I guess they're really taking their time now :/.

Hi Soxie, well congratulations! Will you be working day or night shift? From what I hear most of the ppl that applied to the GN program that started in March and that were actually hired are working night shift, so I was just wondering if that has anything to do with it..I requested day shift so who knows ;?

Have any of you applied anywhere else? I had an interview with Methodist West Houston last week but only got to interview with one unit director since they were all busy :/

NOOOOO , well I would think more than 2 ppl from this forum would've gotten a call so maybe they're still working on it. I just don't understand why it's just sooo hard to get in, but let's just try to stay positive!

Are any of ya'll buying an older versions of the any of the books we're going to need. I have a friend that is graduating this semester and wants to sell her books but I'm hesitant about buying them.....what do ya'll think?

You are right mau00...mine says the same thing. Question: does anyone know anyone that is going to Jr 2? I want see a list of the books we're going to need for fall 2010....if ya'll do please let me know. Thanks!

Does anyone know how much tuition will be for this upcoming Spring semester? I looked at their website and it says tuition for 16 credit hours (resident)= $3,859.20. Is this correct?

Are ya'll buying all the books for Concepts & Clinical Competencies? I don't know whether I should buy all of them?
