The program length I'm not 100% sure of because right now its quarters and the school will be moving to semesters very soon. I'm sure its probably 3-4 semesters? The only advice I can give is try to apply to as many schools as possible! Good luck!

First off the best way to describe the teas is that it is an exam that cover pretty much everything from prek to all of your pre reqs from college. Don't be scared bc it sounds a lot worse than it really is but I will say I'm glad I took geology and other science from my previous degree. There are 4-5 parts. I can't remember exactly but it is similar to the SAT. The best thing you can do is purchase as much study material and take the exam as many times as the school you're applying to will permit. I was in the healthcare profession but due to a heavier school load I had to cut back. Does it help? Not now. It may once I start the program but for now it didn't really help me with my teas score or my acceptance. What matters the most are you pre req gradesand uour teas score. Good Morning! And no word yet. What I'm wondering is if say 10 people declined from the original acceptance and they send out letters to the first 10 people on the list, do those 10 people have a deadline as well? Which would mean I bump up to number 3 on the list? Does that make sense? Because if that is the case I feel that this process could go on for a little longer...

Me too! Oh and the letter I got said there are 20 people on the list

wow...thats crazy...I got a letter from the dean today that said that I was wait listed...So I am number 13 but only scored an 83 so that means there must be a ton of people with similar scores.....Oh well I guess we'll see what happens come monday!thanks again

Ok well I have yet to hear anything. Do you know of anyone who is actually rejecting his/hers acceptance? I find it hard to believe that will happen. I also called and left a vm for mrs. underwood just wanting to make sure my application was actually submitted correctly.....

I hope and pray I got in...My Gpa was higher than yours (even though I know that doesn't really matter because they use the TEAS scores) I got an 83...which isnt great, but I was originally registered for the 5.0 and had to switch it last minute....I have been trying for a long to get into a nursing program and just pray that I got in! And if I didn't tell you...Congrats! I'm proud of you even though I don't know you!

hey girl! Honestly you never know. I didn't get the what I wanted either! It just depends on what everyone else has. I wouldn't worry about it until the letter comes....at least thats what I'm trying to tell myself!!

Yeah I too applied there. I don't have any classes left to take which is good but bad at the same time becuase all I am doing is frantically waiting for letters! Hopefully I'll get into one of them so I don't have to worry about this any more! Do you have a preference between the two?

That's good! I also have a 3.7 but only got an 83 on the teas. I was originally scheduled to take the 5.0 version and found out last minute from my advisor I needed the 4.0. So I wish I couldve taken it more than once because I'm afraid that might hurt me! But who really knows? I'm just trying to stay positive and wait for the final verdict before I jump to conclusions. Is this the only program you applied to?

Some. I have some classes from a previous degree, some from gpc then some from there. I was reading other blogs about acceptance. Some girls got in with a 90 teas and a 3.7 and some got in with an 82 teas and a 3.7. So i'm guessing it mainly depends on how well our peers did. What dis you scores look like if u don't mind me asking? And dis you take all your prereqs there?
