Hello All! I am new to this thread but have read it occasionally in the past. I got the urge to check this morning and was also granted provisional admittance! Congratulations to the rest of you who have as well! My Stats Science: 4.0 Pre-req: 3.82 Net: 85 ...and my last name starts with V but I am not sure how much this has to do with it. I was also accepted at TWU but am pretty confident that UTHSC is my first choice. I would regret every passing up this opportunity. I'm looking foward to meeting all of you!

I received my acceptance letter in the mail today as I am sure most of you did as well! I must say I was expecting a packet of information, but instead it only contained what was in the email. I am assuming once you accept their offer they will send a bigger packet of information including the date of orientation, immunizations, etc. If I do not hear from UTHSC by the 9th I will accept TWU's offer. By the time they will need payments and what not I am hoping I will have heard from UTHSC! I wish this wasn't so complicated. Anyone else have suggestions or thoughts? I put an email into UTHSC today. It is just unfortunate that I may have to accept and then potentially decline. I dont like doing that.

Interestingly enough I am going along the same path as you are! TWU does not have a CRNA program. There are only five in the state of Texas and two are in houston- UTHSC and Baylor. I have been told time and again that it is a very competitive program to get into at any school-as they accept very few students each year. I am curious if attending UTHSC for BSN gives you an upperhand at getting into their Master's CRNA program. Some schools actually tend to lean the other way and seek students that have not attended any of their programs (that is atleast how UT law school is). I am hoping UTHSC is the other way around because I would love to get both degrees from UTHSC!

I have to agree that I like the fact that there are no summer breaks. I am so used to summer school at this point that I am like why not?? Hopefully this does not come back to haunt me lol. I currently attend UT Austin so although they are not directly related I tend to lean towards UT Houston. I just dont want to make the wrong decision Ali I am so sorry to hear about your friend! I have witnessed cancer up close and personal with several family members. There is no doubt your friend is very grateful for your presence in their life as well as your loyalty. I am going to try and get more information from UTHSC...if there is a way they can notify us earlier or possibly tell us the date they will be changing the admissions status online. I have a feeling it will be before nov 15th for sure...I am really just rooting for before the 9th! Either way...both are great nursing programs!!

Congratulations everyone!! I know I am kind of new and don't know seem to know everyone as well but I am so very excited for you all and know the joy you are experiencing! I told myself I was not going to check my email until Monday but after getting emails that new posts were being written on the thread I had to check and make sure...and I got in as well!!! :) I have also applied to UT in Houston but they are not supposed to notify us until November 15th. I am encountering a problem though that I wonder if anyone else is experiencing. We must notify them by November 9th; however, I will not know about my UT Houston admission status until the 15th. I have not exactly made my decision as to which one I would choose (if I were to get into both). Any thoughts?!? And is anyone else undergoing the same situation? Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Hello All! I am also a hopeful for spring admission into TWU- the Houston campus. I have been following along your thread for the past week and decided to join! I have seen that they mailed out the letters today (im getting nervous!!!) Does anyone know if they update your admissions status on your pioneer portal account?!? I have looked but found nothing...
